Sounds to me more like someone is trying to capture the gringos in Grenada and wealthier Nicaraguans out south of town. They can run down the road a few minutes without having to go all the way into Managua and knock out some young ass. That is expensive.

Got a tip on a strip joint directly across from the entrance to the Masaya Volcano, and tried to find it on Sunday but it was closed.

Went back last night and tried again. Sure enough there is a place called Dina's Night Club, which is lit up with a Neon Flor de Cana sign which reads "Sopas Dina's No. 2".

This is a nice place with comfortable seating, and chicas in the 6's to 8's range. Beers for customers for Cords 35 and for the chicas Cords 53. Hard liquor for the chicas was Cords 90. The price for the chicas and the room were cords 900, roughly US$50.

Nine years ago when I lived there for a year there was a small Hotel on Carretera Masaya that was right across from the then brand new TGIF restaurant. It had a pool but it was nothing fancy. I'd suspect it would be in your price range and at that time it was well situated for mongering. RIght down from it was a cool little outdoor restaurant and the SW's worked the area right in front. Used to be able to pick up some real good ones right there.

(what's up?) honestly, i don't know much about hotel in managua 'cause i lived there. i don't even think i remember seeing that many hotels besides conrad hilton, camino real, and the crown plaza. i'm sure there are lots of low-end hotels like those "auto hotels," but i never used them so...

sorry, but i can't really help you beyond what i contributed, although the place i mentioned in san luis sur close to good time, salvadoreno #2, and cuento club charges $25 per night fully furnished with aire conditioning, high-speed internet, and a generator.

wait, there is another place on carr. norte along the lines of a carribean something that is $25. it has the name carribbean in it or something like that. it's located between el malecon and the airport on the a lago side. yeah, i know, that's a 20-minute distance.

what else, there are places within neighborhoods, but you need to scout for yourself.

After a chinese meal, my friend and I made it to Diamond Club. It was a Friday night, and there were some people there, but there was no cover charge. We ordered a 1/2 bottle of rum for US$15, enough for 2-1/2 drinks each. My friend succumbed to the tentation and bought a US$14 drink for the chick. The girl told me they got half of it. I rather gave my girl a C$100 cord bill(about US$7).

After the bottle was gone, with a drinks and pack of cigarrettes, they also charged us for the bottle of coke and soda which accompanied the bottle, the total cost was $53 or C$832.

It must be stated that the girls at Diamond Club were 8's to 10's, and the ones with us were asking US$280 for sex, or some kind of deal in the VIP room (US$110), which we did not avail ourselves of.

We then went to Fenix, which had very few hookers, about 5, and we took our chicks to the room for C$200 cords for 1/2 hour. It was not bad, but there definitely was no GFE experience, covered BJ and cowgirl. But it was pleasent enough for the price.

So we went in about 10 at night, but when we came out a lot of beauties had arrived, and we were sorry we had not waited for the new herd.

I am in Miami all of next week and am looking for an experienced member to show me around.

East Coast guy here, and was thinking of making a trip down to Central America for a little adult entertainment fun. Thought of Costa Rica, but someone suggested Nicaragua. Good idea? So, just curious about it, and how does it compare to CR?

From what I can gather, it's cheaper than Costa Rica (for food, hotel, and women), but maybe the girls aren't as good looking. Is that right?

Also, would it be safe to go down there? I'm a white dude from the States, so I would stick out.

Any advice would be great. Thanks!

The girls are better in CR, hands down. The scene is easier, as well. However, it is WAY cheaper in Nicaragua, and there are far fewer gringos (which can be a good thing). You'll stick out more in Nica as well, which can be a good and/or a bad thing.

If you are looking for a quick trip, then do CR. But if you are willing to put some effort in and get to know the scene, Nica is an interesting place.
