my fifth visit to nicaragua and all i can say is i'll keep coming back for more. i spent one week in managua and everything went all right. i have to be honest, i am not fan of exploring the city attractions or going around searching for adventures, i am interested in chicks and every time i come back it is easier to meet more. since i speak spanish fluently i have no problems at all. most of the time the same girl i am spending time with wants to introduce me a cousin / friend / coworker so i can go out with a different girl. some of these girls are not even pro but since i am considered more like a "friend" rather than a client they feel more relaxed and are open to say yes. i am probably paying premium but in exchange i get what i want. yes, i am lazy but i like it this way.

OK. I got fed up with not having access to my own car. I rented something to get me around.

I hit the end of metro-centro (Masaya street) area between the Mcdonalds and the Puma gas station. Lots of little Nica chicks looking to rub, tug, or suck. Found one. She sucked and pop went the weasel for just 300cords (we drove up and down a side street). Just to kill time, this stuff is fun at 2am. It was fun on Monday.

There is a barber shop within walking distance from Hotel Yolania. Cutting hair in the front with the convenience of a message in the back. Ask for Pablo & Silvio at the Hotel Yolania. They will show you the way or anything else you need for that matter.

The barber shop by hotel Yolanda is located down a side street just east of rotonda universitaria. It is directly accross from the Islamic center, can't miss it. Hotel Yolania is behind the center. I was told $40 by Silvio, (don't know if it includes a hair cut, LOL) and I looked in the window and saw 3 attractive ladies sitting right in the entrence. They were all wearing white lab coats. I or my friend might check it out next week, and if so I will report.

Spa Sobell is a hair styling salon in the front, and a casa de citas in the back. It is located only one block away from Hotel Teodolinda in Bolonia (PlazaInter). It is a bit on the pricey side ($80+ for an hour) , but the girls are much prettier than the normal casa. A few good write-ups on the place herein, Managua reports #1525, #1527, #1530. So, here is the shizits. Friday night at Moods for birthday party for nephews girlfriend. Cover charge was a bit high at $15, but drinks were free all night. Was Lots of hot ladies and suprisingly few "rock star" gringos. Danced with several and felt realy confident I would end up with one very heavy chested sweetheart. Good Times- 3 or 4 $ cover, beers a couple o bucks. Drinks for girl $10 and $5 for beers. I think $50 for full service but never tried. Girls are overall very attractive with some pretty aggressive. (but who doesn't like that). Had a cute one named Angie ride and grind me for 1 1/2 hour, for three beers.

Fenix- yes somewhat dumpy and yes a lower rong on the pole, girl wise. But for the 2 or 3 dollar cover (includes a beer). And $16 for 1/2 hr in room. I cannot complain.

I want to thank once again, my very good friends Pablo & Silvio at Hotel Yolania. They have become like family to me. There was much more to my trip (like finding blondies short shorts and g string in my luggage when I got home. Oops) but I am tired and going to bed now.

Well, I wouldn't really consider myself a newbie. Maybe for MGA, but I've been in the seen a while. I live in Costa Rica, speak Spanish, and I own a monger board. I'd say I had a little bit of a head start. There are tons of guys who live in CR who go to MGA & PTY for visa runs, so there was a wealth of info to begin with. Also, there's a map that is on many of these sites that I could reference. And to kick it all off, there's a quasi guide on this forum one can use as a starting point.

As for spending extended periods of time there, who knows? Managua isn't a bad place to hang out. It's a little ghetto in some areas, but I found the people to be nice, fairly honest, and hard working. The food is definitely better than Costa Rica, and cheaper. The percentages for pretty women are quite a bit lower than Costa Rica, but there are some very lovely girls available for pocket change compared to the global average. And the climate is fairly pleasant. A little on the warm side, but not that bad while I was there.

Granted. There is no 'ambiance' in either the downstairs rooms at Good Time, nor anywhere in Fenix. But also keep things in perspective. Are you going for the look of an InterContinental Hotel, or are you seeking the carnal pleasures of a hot Nica? Your call! Pricing has held basically the same at Good Time for several years now. They want 1000 Cordobas ($40-$45) for 30 minutes. YMMV That really has not changed, but even gone down a bit due to the exchange rate. OK. Fenix has hiked its prices by 33% (from 300 Cords to 400 Cords for 30 minutes). Get real people. At today's exchange rate this is still only $16-$20 for 30 minutes. And there are usually a couple of cute Nicas in the place. Just look past the uggos lounging on the sofas and find a cute one! How cheap can you guys be? If it is cheap you want, listen to Grand Pollo and his advice on the Callejon de la Muerte (Mercado Oriental). After my 20 years in Nicaragua, I sure won't go to the Callejon de la Muerte!

Heading down there the end of March. Has the prices changed that much? What the hell? Don't these amateurs read up on prices and keep it stable instead of inflating?

Any other country you can speak with the locals, maybe in some of Nica as well, but in Good Times you might as well speak to the wall. I was quoted 100 dollars by one chica. They got two rooms downstairs that are bad and if you bargain they try to push you in there.

Club Fenix, remodelled as well but still a shit hole. Prices now 400 rather than 300.
