Good times is full of foreigners, and foreigners there are paying double what the locals are. The last 3 times I was there I was one of several foreigners. Sure there is more to Nica than that, but mongering in Nicaragua is not off the beaten track. Try Cucuta, Bucaramanga, Periera, even Cali and Bogota, and see how used to foreigners Colombia is to Nicaragua.

My fifth visit to Nicaragua and all I can say is I'll keep coming back for more. I spent one week in Managua and everything went all right. I have to be honest, I am not fan of exploring the city attractions or going around searching for adventures, I am interested in chicks and every time I come back it is easier to meet more. Since I speak Spanish fluently...

Hey fellas. Been reading up on Nicaragua for a while now and thinking about taking the plunge. I just recently started my International Mongering career if you will. And went to Tijuana last year twice. The experience was amazing. I felt comfortable the whole time and the experiences were great. Being that I speak spanish fluently, I feel I have a good chance to make things easier. However, that doesn't mean traveling to unknown parts is safe by any means. In fact I am careful that my ability to speak spanish doesn't give me a level of confidence that could bite me in the rear end, so I am usually very careful.

This is true, in the past I made several mistakes thinking that speaking Spanish will always keep me safe. The funny thing is that Police has stopped me many times and as soon they noticed I don't speak "nicaraguan spanish" they started asking for documents and all king of crap. I am not crazy to carry originals in my pocket but even if you hand them a copy they may still hold you waiting for a little donation, you know it doesn't make any sense to argue with them so I slipped some cordobas to break the ice."Go and drink some coffee officer" Most of the time they smile and walk away. I guess 100 cordobas is not a high price to pay. However when you need them they will take forever to show up. I really needed them one time.

So far safety has not been a major concern to be but I understand that keeping a local chick with me has helped me to stay safe. Nicas know the risk, at first I was pissed because they won't even let me go to to the corner by myself, but after seeing a naked guy chasing a woman with a knife in his hands in the middle of the street at 3 pm I never complained again. Chicas can also bring problems, specially for those (like me) who like TLN. I had a terrible experience with one, this is the only chica I will push into the traffic if I see her again. I guess by now everyone has already mention the basics: Searching for a Safe area / neighborhood, do not go out by yourself too late, avoid solitary streets, be careful with what you drink and do not argue with locals, they love to solve problems knife style.

I have been to Mexico (just the DF) , Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. By far Colombia has the best girls but the country is so used to foreigners that it has lost some of its magic. Ecuador is great in many ways, food, places to visit, weather, everything is priced in dollars, in other words it is a place to enjoy and not only search for pussy. I have been to Mexico in my college years but it was a simply students trip so I have not much to say in reference to the topic. Peru is Nice also but I have been told that Iquitos is the place to visit, some sort of paradise for mongers. Hopefully It will be my next destination by the end of the year after one more visit to Nicaragua. I am already gathering some information.

I am down in Managua for the next couple of days and would love to meet Rosa, as well as several of the girls you have discussed. Having been to both, Tijuana is compacted within a 2-3 block area. So almost all the working girls are in la coahuila. There are other clubs outside of la coahuila, but it is a safer bet to be in la coahuila.

Having said that, I enjoyed romping around and exploring Managua, so I guess I would suggest both places. Tijuana is one-stop shopping, whereas Managua is spread out and you need transportation to explore the place. Put Managua on your bucket list.

Also add San Salvador, my favorite place in Central America.

Thanks for the insight. I think I will try it out. I am planning a trip to Tijuana next month and then head to Nicaragua July or August. As for San Salvador that is shocking to hear! I always thought that was a very dangerous place. Maybe I should look into it a bit more. I guess my biggest fear is not knowing the areas or falling for traps.

The beauty of Tijuana is as you said, is all in a 2 to 3 block area which limits it but also you know the "safe zone" so as long as you keep there you should be fine.

I hit the end of metro-centro (Masaya street) area between the Mcdonalds and the Puma gas station. Lots of little Nica chicks looking to rub, tug, or suck. Found one. She sucked and pop went the weasel for just 300cords (we drove up and down a side street). Just to kill time, this stuff is fun at 2am. It was fun on Monday.

This year I am planning on heading back to Tijuana, it has been 6 months and I am already having withdraw symptoms. LOL. I mean I really loved the place. Time of my life. However, I feel that now that I got the ball rolling and in an effort to try as many places as possible, I have looked into making the trip to Nicaragua. I have heard that it is not the safest place around, but from what I have read here recently it is very enticing.

My question to all of you that have been here, is it better than Tijuana? That is to say, if I had to pick of going with the safe bet (Tijuana) or exploring Nicaragua what would you recommend? I guess in terms of quality, ease of getting chicas, level of safety, price, atmosphere and having a great time.

I have thought maybe I should try places like the DR or Costa Rica first as those are more of a touristy well known attraction. But there is something about a not so popular area that has more of a lure. What do you guys think? What are some must know items if I do go this route?

Excellent report! I have been there once and would go there instead Costa Rica any time. My taxi driver took me to meet a lady. She came outside and I looked her over and took her for TLN for a great price. Some good lookers and good value.
