Hey guys,
Lots of information here, and I appreciate all the contributions. I have read what's been posted, but have some specific questions about hotels.
First of all, are there any love motels in the "Metro Centro" area? I am thinking about staying at El Almendro (not guest friendly), and therefore would need to use a love motel for take homes. And are they safe?
Or, would I really just be better off at Casa Real? How does it compare to El Almendro? I would like a decent hotel that's safe (but I do like guest-friendliness as well, being used to Brazil).
Thank you.

I think you must be the first one to call the girls at Phoenix GFE! The rest of your report is spot on though.

I was just in Nicaragua two weeks ago and decided to do some mongering even though I was with a group of people who wouldn't approve. The best option in this situation is Club Fenix (directions located a few posts down.)
The great thing about it is how quickly you can get in and out. You just stop in any time (I was told they are open 24/7), pick the girl you want (or two), pay 200 cordobas ($12 US) per girl for a half hour and the room is right there! The rooms are air-conditioned, but it's going to be warm regardless if you go there at noontime.
The times I was able to slip away to go there were brief and not at peak times when the most girls are there, however, I wasn't dissapointed. Most of the girls there are young, tight and eager to please an American. The last four girls I've been with there can be classified "GFE".
There's a full bar for those of you with the time who want a drink and sit and talk. The pressure to buy drinks is tolerable and if you want you can be in, do your business and be out quickly. It's dark and not very inviting, but no one can argue $12 for GFE, it's just unbelievable.
I recommend all visitors to give Club Fenix a fair shake. I would love for it to stay in business for many years to come.

Posts: 628you seem to be familiar with nicaragua, have you been? use your contacts there to get 8 girls.
this is about the most impossible thing i have read here for a while.
casa girls can't leave if they live there (in the casa) and in any case, $100 per day per girl is likely not enough for the owners (they try for $100 all night not 24 hours) and if they do not live in the casa (and most don't) they can't disappear for 3 days since their families don't know how they make a living.
bellmary's does outcall, it is a ripoff joint but the $100 (most of which they will keep vs the girl) might do it but since they charge $55 for a 90 minute hotel visit i doubt $100 will be anywhere near enough.
street girls? 8 of them will rob you blind. i doubt all day for 3 days is feasible but that is where i would start. remember that many are **** and the police will stop you at least once maybe more than once en route. good luck if you can't provide id. montelimar wants id, too. so be sure.
montelimar is very family oriented. i am not sure they will be open minded to multiple girls per room unless you are coming with 7 guys and it is just one with one. check the barcelo site for availability as well.

Hey guys,
I am wondering if any of you can offer some direction or assistance. I am traveling to Nica over Memorial Day weekend with a group of guys who are looking to blow off some steam. All the group are good guys in their early 30s. I need about 8 chicas for 3 days to hang with probably in Montelimar. They will be treated very well, but must be hot (thin) and young. I am willing to pay up to $100 per day per girl. Any advice on how to set this up before hand or quickly when I arrive. I only have a short vacation and don't want to waste too much time getting set up.

The guys seemd to like to hang out with me as much as the girls did. They offered their phone numbers and told me to call them anytime I needed help with anything, and especially when I wanted to go mongering.
I never asked a local to come along with me to a bar who ever turned me down.
There were even times I went into clubs and took a girl away from some guy but still never had a problem. I found it amazing.
There was one time I had some guy's girlfriend over for the weekend. He managed to get my phone number from her taxista and called me several times. I just told him he had the wrong number and I couldn't speak Spanish.
I was a bit nervous that he also might have gotten my address, but if he did, he did not come over.
I took the chica home Monday morning and I never heard from him again. I really think he just wanted to know he would get her back when I was finished with her.
The respect that they showed to Americans was far beyond anything I ever could had imagined.
I try to be a very friendly guy, but I'm nothing special in any other way.
I managed to travel (and monger) in the other countries in the region and always felt extremely welcomed. I am sure that there are exceptions everywhere, but in my experience the locals in Central America treated me like a king.

Note the best map of Managua such as maps are in a city without street names is called Guia Mananic, hard to find, available in some gas stations. $4 or so. The best map is a Managua taxi driver like my driver. I have yet to name a location or building that he just can't go to immediately by the shortest route.

Come and act like a lout, drunken idiot, or general asshole and they won't like it. Don't and they appreciate the tourist dollars. The bad acting is what turned the Almendro off the single guy business, indiscreet and way too much booze, noise and ill behaviour to staff and too many street girls. Just act like someone you know might see you.
This applies everywhere.

I asked several locals about the case and they all said they thought he is guilty. I ate at the restaurant in SJDS across the street from where she was killed. The owner is Canadian and knew her. He said she was very sweet, afraid of her boyfriend, and was trying to break up with him.
I didn't feel any animosity towards me from the Nicaraguans I talked with (in Spanish). We respectfully debated the Immigration bill (which they knew more about than I did), foreign aid, etc. and they acted like they genuinely appreciated American and Canadian visitors.

[QUOTE=Tanager] I was told by several people that Fenix is open 24 hours a day, but I doubt they are open on Sunday.
They were open on the two Sundays I was there, including Easter.

I've been following this case as well since I'm going to el salvador very soon.
1. I saw the report on dateline as well. It seems pretty crazy to me. The only thing that I thought was weak evidence against him were the scratch marks on his back. He said he got them from carrying the coffin on his shoulder however in my experience when you carry something heavy like that you get bruises and discoloration of the skin not perfectly aligned scratches.
2. Why cant gringos immigrate too ? This gets into a whole other debate which I will not get into because I really like latin people and I dont want to offend anybody. People come to the USA for money. Americans travel for budget offerings and companionship thats how it is. Its the same thing anyway you look at it but for different reasons.
Treat people well have respect for the culture and people should understand. Stay away from those who dont.
