No, thanks for it but I have a GF there and she spent a lot more time with me than normal so days were not as open as usual so the number went uncalled.

Vs. my trip a month ago:

As you note you were ripped off (three times, too) at Morenas (I really must try to give Gina a clue that ISG members are not to be fleeced). Normal price C$400 (US$22)

And Glorias has been posted (by me, repeatedly) that it is a clip joint - the price you quote seems to be as ridiculous as they tried on me. Interesting observation about the girls, when I was there in December (or maybe November) they were all around 16 or 17. Might have been raided (again).

Buen Gusto is C$200, with the $150 correct on Thursdays, so $100 lost there. The discount on Monday is new. Note it is in a rather OK neighborhood, if you know the neighborhoods it is really not unsafe at all.

Fenix official rate is C$200/30 minutes C$300 an hour, they will try to get anything they can and it is full of stoners and a lot of really dubious looking male guests. I still recommend against it unaccompanied. You did OK though so there you go - any MP that uses a metal detector at the door you have to be wary of.

Claudia I (the one you went to - there is a 2 a/k/a/ Cervezeria Mou behind La Prensa) is C$250. Vs. the $360 you paid. It had really suffered and then in December/January I went back and there are like a dozen girls and at least 1/2 quite good.

Note there is a room with AC on the main floor (C$50) more and has a bathroom with running water shower. They always take me there but they know me there. I don't use the AC though as these tiny AC units cannot cope with the room in the time you have. Morena's sort of do if you aim it at your bed. Sort of.

You missed a couple that are clip joints - Bellmary's, Elegant Spa and Travelers House, well done. Sol y Luna was OK priced but it has gone to seed.

Without Spanish it is a minefield. If you call them ahead they will quote the prices I mention. The hard part is getting a driver who then doesn't try for $5 or $10 for himself. You are right about the lack of other gringos or mongers, in fact you don't see all that many gringos in the whole country.

Still I have been reading the DR posts and they are getting away with murder on the prices so all in all it is still a low price destination done right.

I guess if you normally tip and then get charged these prices you could always not tip and it would work out pretty similar.

I just returned from spending a few days in Managua and I thought I would provide some information based on what I saw. I wrote a massively detailed trip report and if you would like to see the whole thing send me a private message. IMHO it's way too much to post here (10+ page Word doc) but I'll share it with anyone that's interested.

Here are the highlights from the MP's I visited:

Caribean Morena’s
Near MetroCentro
Mon-Sat 9 AM – 2 or 3 AM
Paid $40/hr but should have paid half that. (should have read the forum more carefully!)
Many very attractive chicas and excellent GFE. I had 3 sessions here and they were all fabulous. The girls performance reminded me of the girls at Relax y Vida in Lima except you get full service here. (That's very high praise) Many of the girls here are from Bluefields and speak English. The rooms are decent and have air conditioning. (well, sort of)

Gloria’s
Near Caribean Morena’s on a side street
Mon-Sat 9 AM – 11 PM
Quoted $50/hr but you can do better (when I laughed the chica said I could talk to the manager and get a "better" price)
Chicas were old or fat. The 1 hot "chica" here was at least 45. If I was in a different mood that day I would have done her because she was smoking hot. There were about 10 chicas when I was there and most of them were cows or over 40. Didn't see the rooms but the place seems very nice.

Only 1 average looking chica the day I was there. The facilities seem decent though and the price is right. Didn't session there.

Great for PSE, many very attractive chicas. I did 2 sessions here and both were off the charts pure PSE experiences. The place is a dump but the rooms are perfect for sexo. Mirrors everywhere, furniture to get creative with, etc. Both chicas demanded that I CIM, not asked if I wanted to for a propina, they demanded that I do it. (my kind of place and I didn't disappoint them) The first chica charged me $20 US for 50 minutes, the second charged me $12 for an hour so who knows what the prices are. Both times I was in Fenix there were 10-12 chicas working and several were gorgeous.

Best looking chicas of any of the places I went and all in the 18-22 range. I had 1 session here and the girl was a solid 9. She would have been perfect if her breasts were a little bigger. Decent rooms but the "shower" is 2 55 gallon drums filled with ice water. The chica I was with just turned 21 that day and her performance was exceptional. (proudly showed me her cedula)

I had a great time in Managua but it's not for everyone. If you don't speak Spanish don't go there. It's not a place that is setup for tourists and especially not for rookie mongers. If you want to go somewhere sin gringos, however, this is the place. I didn't run into a single gringo at any of the places I went to. It was definately a nice change of pace.

When you said they call it in, did you mean they send the ladies to the hotels if needed? And you think the hotel is not to GF.
I think I will take your suggestion and most likly jsut go there.

ALL MP's sell at least beer, many locals come to grope and flirt but cannot afford C$400 but they have C$50. Yes, I meant they send a girl to your hotel but I can assure you not YOUR hotel. Not too GF? Not one iota of GF.

Polanco's and that area you MUST have an escort, local, my driver was armed when we went in, they didn't use the metal detector as he said to the doormen well, there are two reasons not to use that, one, I am this guy's bodyguard and two, I have a gun so don't bother. They didn't so you can imagine how many more are armed in there. Skip it until you know the town.

Note if Venus has cute girls dancing on any particular night, which ain't all that often, it is OK, and it is huge inside and the rooms are OK. Way too loud and way too dark for me and a lot of the girls resemble livestock.

Club Venus across from Polancos has rooms onsite for C$500 and Polancos has an autohotel across the parking lot for C$500 with your choice of their stripper. Bad, bad area though.

I had to really persuade my normal taxi driver to go to Polanco's when I went there a few years back. One fight did break out while we were there, but I've seen much worse in different latin countries. I found it worthwhile, though.

For one night go to Morena, have the driver wait the hour. Fare $3 or so, an hour wait, maybe $5. Paid when you come out. C$400 for an hour. Beer about a buck.

You go to Vale Todo or CC (both strip bars - note "nightclub" is a strip bar, discos are called discos) and then what? VT there is no room onsite and CC is the same. VT has a salida of US$140 for the night for a girl you cannot bring back to your hotel. CC has a salida of around C$400 and you negotiate with the girl for around C$1500 which is $90 or more. VT 2 in the Zona Roja is a lot more money and at times it's the same girls in VT I.

Morena will send a girl for an hour (based on when she calls in on arrival) for C$500 or 550. Plus 2 way taxi, say C$50 or 60. Morena is clean & air conditioned and safe and the girls there will be the same she sends and you are paying a cab so just go there.

I have been in Pharoahs and in the casino next to Club Hollywood and have not seen likely girls or been approached and me vs. the average patron clearly indicates I have dough and they don't so it does not appear to be something to count on, probably be quite disappointing with such little time.

Note Hollywood charges US$200 for 90 minutes onsite with a stripper and US$300 take out. Ouch. $14 US for a 1/4 bottle of rum that would cost about $2 in a store.

Your best bet is Morena or Claudia I. Open with enough girls and clean enough (well Claudia is not that great to be honest).

I have a driver if you speak Spanish and it's at least US$50 a day. If you are capable of speaking Spanish flag down a cab in good shape, and arrange a few hours at maybe $10 per.

The hotel was picked by a business customer. I did not pick it. It is near his office.
I travel to Central America often, but am only going to be in Managua for one night, then I go back to San Jose.

I see from some of your other posts, the Vale Todo and the Cueto Club. Are they far? Are they mainly a strip bar? Are they too over priced?

Do you recomend a drive for the night? Can you suggest someone?

What about in any of the cassinos? I was in Panama a couple of months ago and they were full of Freelance.

Morena, not Norena is on the bypass between Metrocentro and Carretera Norte well before the lights at the new Petronic station.

The number and a description is here if you did read the posts. And normally in the Diario classifieds every day of the week.

You can forget girls at most of the big name hotels, Intercontinental, Crowne Plaza, Hilton, Seminole, Camino Real. They are pretty upscale. If you find a girl outside an MP then you can take her to an autohotel, one of Fanstasia, Salamandra and Km.10 1/2 depending on where you are at the time, though you need to arrange the taxi to stay in the parking garage which they hate or come back at a set time which they may not. I have a driver so I have no worries in that respect.

What made you elect that hotel to begin with?

1: read the posts then ask.
2: don't expect to bring girls into the Intercontinental
3:You can walk from there to Metrocentro and in theory to the Zona Roja but since a taxi costs $1.59 why walk?
4:There are no bars with P4P girls like in the DR or CR. Maybe Caribena Morena but it is a MP and not a bar and Gina will ask you to leave eventually if you don't go with a girl.
5:There is Aqui Polancos with freelancers downstairs but there are also normal girls and girls there with boyfriends or husbands, hard to see or tell apart. It is in a tough area and it is a pretty tough place. You need a companion and good Spanish.
6: I would recommend against it for new arrivals, same as with Fenix which you will hear about now and then. Bad dumpy hardcore place. Really a MP type of operation.

About the Conquistador, at best the fee might be you pay for a double when you book vs. a single, really from talking to a guy who was a resident there for 5 months while his kid was in the hospital, he said anything goes as long as it is legal and doesn't make a racket, cause problems or complaints from other guests.
