I should have added additional details on the selection of girls to include pretty or ugly (hermosa / fea).

Suffice it to say they are all chicas feas. So old and ugly, fat and ugly and old and fat and ugly.

One looked a lot like Hugo Chavez, and she was one of the younger ones. For the truly weird leftist fantasy dudes out there I guess.

I am alone until 6 again today (by choice, all day with these girls is as much work as fun) and might mosey around a bit more. I got a message from Noguera and might at least pop into Fenix, though I no not like to pay cover, to see if work inside is more than last year. They seem to have spent a billion pesos on the exterior and 10 on the rooms, and 1 on recruiting girls that don't chase cars in their spare time.

But in fairness it has been a while so a quick look might be in order. And that barbershop, as well. $20 to enter is ridiculous mind you. I hope one can see the girls without paying to do that, if not I sure as hell have no intention of paying one cent.

I still think non-native Spanish speakers or those first timers are better served with places oriented towards gringo traffic vs. Locals. For English only Morena might be about it though charades, hand language and portable translators would do for Fenix, as I think they do want the traveler traffic.

Worthy of note is that I have yet to visit a casa or MP and not find a girl happy or happier to arrange something away from the premises if for no other reasons than your hotel is better and she keeps all the dough so if there are cute morenas with English at Morenas, they are worth trying to chat with to see privately. Even the Club Diamond (clip joint supreme) girls will see you outside the club , and at night it is not uncommon to see them at the Texaco which is of course no longer a Texaco but the one across from the Intercontinental and next door to the Diamond Club. Cueto Club, they are easy to see in private as well. All the gasolineras have changed names as have the convenience stores attached, but people will still call them Texaco and StarMart and Esso and On The Run.

I recall years ago a MP called Sol y Luna in Bolonia and I thought the MP mentioned in the map might be it but we went by there yesterday and there is nothing that indicates it is anything more than just somebody's house.

I am here a few more days, and thought I'd check out the various sites on the map.

Elite is closed so no need to save your nickels and dimes to pay what they used to charge since there is no Elite.

Morena in Altamira is under new ownership but there continues to be a few girls from the east coast which means they are dark but speak English as well as Spanish, which, for many who post here, is a benefit since I do believe that any functional skill in Spanish is an ability sorely lacking in visitors to this Spanish speaking country.

They charge 400/700 half an hour / one hour, and while open at 9 a.m., and the girls are supposed to arrive around 2 and stay to midnight. The girl I spoke to was good enough looking, plus there was a Spanish-only heavyset girl with a pretty face and a third I did not see.

In any case, a safe barrio and some English, this is still probably worth a look, and from what I recall the rooms are OK and some have showers.

We passed but did not enter two premises. Bar Azul and La Cata Due to the dodgy look of both outside (and I am with a local driver built like a refrigerator) and the nature of the local drunks we saw entering and leaving. These trabajadores focused joints may best be left to locals unless one is with a local companion and Spanish is spoken well. In this case neither of us wanted to try.

We did enter La Vida en Rosa Which is around the corner from La Cata, and it seems at least in the daytime, relatively safe, and is an interesting construction of both having a roof and not having a roof, with caged parrots and not so caged chickens inside.

The girls are of three types, for various tastes: Old (viejas) , Fat (Gorditas) and Old and Fat (Viejas gorditas). We did not inquire as to price as to not lead people on, and due to the fact that I would not spend 10 centavos on any of the 7 girls I saw.

Glorias is still open, two girls there, younger than the aforementioned, which is not too hard to accomplish since older women might have walkers or canes. It is actually quite dumpy and nowhere near its heyday when there were dozens of very young pretty girls and an air conditioned salon as well.

I explored Fenix for an hour back in May, and it still reminds me of the Blade Runner set and the girls were really Bush league so no trip today. We always miss Good Times Because it opens at 7, I am always with one of my exes here and by that time we are ensconced in my hotel, there is no opportunity to go inside (same for Cueto Club) and see what's going on. My only recollection of Good Times is that it was pitch dark with music at the 110 dBa level and I could see little and hear nothing. Too many younger locals as well. Drunk locals = potential for trouble and also means guns more and more.

I am doing the ex-girlfriend tour, one left after a few days, the other has come up from San Jose to see me and I continue to recommend getting to know non-pros if you come frequently, learn the language and have temporary companions exclusively with a lot more opportunity. The most recent one had her friends join us for a couple of rounds in bed. They do like to watch the cheap DVD porn and as such, learn a lot of moves.

That barbershop is intriguing. There is a taco shop nearby and we may pop in for a look (and a taco at the other place) . I just got a haircut though, yesterday at the best barbería in the city so if we go getting a haircut won't be a good ruse to look around.

This is the ten day period for the fiesta of Santo Domingo. The 1st was horrible with most or many routes closed and the 10th will be the same. I switched my flight to the 9th to avoid it. Unless people are big fans of one million drunks on closed streets this time of year is a terrible time to come.

There could of been more if I would of gone for $50 when we made it to the back room. I am sure I could of gotten a nice romp for $40 but she did mention that anal would be $80 when I asked. Anyway, for someone who wants some basic morning fun (starting after 8am) just to wake you up or put you back to sleep, again, at 8 or 9 in the morning, a $20 house fee and $20 tug job is an option. I am cheap though. I can get the same thing with some CBJ on the Massaya highway at night for just 300 Cordobas so it is all relative. I just wanted to see if the place was nice and I finally went in. I spent more money than I am use to in this town but this is a viable option for those who need to nut during the working hours from Mon-Sat.

It should also be noted that this is a 5 minute walk from the Hotel Yolaina.

As for all of you other Managua gents, I am wondering that there has to be more to the map. The map that World Traveler69 (hey, awesome update with the love motels. Nice job and thank you too for your great feedback on the forum, your stuff is always sharp!) , lays out a bunch of interesting options. But there has to be a level of mellowness out here that we have not been able to tap into. There has to be "private" homes or clubs that are not just the beer drinking brothels that we have all spent too much time in. I am looking for a mellow casual house scene where dudes can get away from the hustle and bustle of the night club thing. I am on a quest to find it but I think my journey will not work. The last time I went out I spotted a young lass who flagged me down and I had to allow her to give me head out of respect for the *ock and her wanting to put that in her mouth (I was going by Massaya). Anyway, another day I was heading to the Ciudad Jardin area and thought I was "discovering" some possible new places but only to discover some flea-bag motels that were having folks go in and out and I realized that I was actually close to a part of the Oriental Market and they had a large group of females hanging on the corner ready to take care of you wherever, but I had to pass because I was looking for venues that appeared to be not so night clubish but possibly with some back room action. Alas, (I know deep down that what I am looking for is not here, but the hunt keeps us all engaged.). Anyway gents, I like the feel of going to a barber shop that has the back room option. Why not a mellow bar or lounge that has the same thing without all the local dudes who want to drink and drink and drink and then focus on the females. It's just my random opinion. I love it when I visit Nicaragua.

Woke up for some odd reason cerca 4am.

Decided to drive the strip.

No matter how boring it is, there is something nice about knowing that females are ready, willing and able to pamper you in your car at that hour of the day!
