One thing is that, there is no strict rule about when the clock starts. Normally it starts when the girl gets a key at reception, and it ends at when she returns the key. So actual time in the room is shorter than 30 min, sometimes 20-25 min. Also, if you spend a long time talking at bar / lounge, they feel it was unfair and they feel they already wasted so much time and try to cut short.
