The key should be kept by the reception, but housekeeping usually carries one. It's your call!
This means nothing. The majority can be opened with a magnet or just by a hard slap. No key or combination needed. But like XXL was saying, there is no rash of people running around stealing out of hotel safes in Thailand.

    Puy the roti chef

This guy simping bad. Or found his niche. Filming chick's in nightclub attire who run food stalls. Then puts content on YouTube and gets the bucks rolling in.

He's found or made some stars no doubt.

Feels like onlyfans for street vendors. Simps sending her money, when it's the pimp that's really profiting.

Can anybody who has patronized Kinnaree recently weigh in here? I find it hard to believe that the action there is limited to take out only.

They still had rooms last week.

Every hotel even in the Western world has a master key to open all safes in a hotel. Housekeepers usually don't have access to that key. Now if you were careless enough to let a housekeeper or girl see your lock number then that's a different situation altogether.
A few years ago the battery in the safe at my hotel died while my stuff was inside. It was a bit complex to get approval for the handy man to get the master key. I feel confident that my valuable are safe inside a hotel safe.

If you have something really valuable I would leave it at the front desk safe and stay at a name brand hotel.
You tube lots of videos how to open Hotel Safes.

Watch the lock picking lawyer on youtube and you will see how easy it is for anybody to open the majority of home or hotel safes.

They are not 100% safe since someone on the premises has a key to unlock the safe. That being said you should consider the room safe to be secure. Any good hotel will have procedures in place to keep the keys safely and accounted for. I don't hesitate to keep my passport and extra cash in my room safe box. However, with my Charles Schwab debit card, I go the the ATM (fees reimbursed) every other day in order to keep less cash on hand. Losing a few hundred dollars won't spoil my vacation but losing more than that would hurt. Before having this debit card I would use Traveler Checks which I received from my bank at no charge. No matter what I would not recommend keeping thousands of dollars on your person or in your safe. Same goes for bringing nice, expensive jewelry. I have heard very few instances of a safe problem reported by an ISG member.

Kinnaree Club. On Site Rooms Closed?

More than once I've retired to one of the rooms at the Kinnaree with a young lady for a little private time. (After hanging out in the club and buying a few lady drinks.) I found the rooms at Kinnaree to be much more comfortable than the rooms above the Soi 6 bars. Clean, well-appointed, comfortable. Nice en suite showers.

But now Mr. Boi is reporting the Kinnaree girls "don't session in the club." Hmmm. My Kinnaree experience pre-dates COVID, so I'm wondering about the current state of play. As for how much for 2 girls per day, not including drinks. For Pattaya you can get a Soi 6 girl for 1350 baht including BF and a BR girl for 700 baht. Otherwise you can get a G club girl at Kinnaree for 1300 baht and a gogo girl at Palace for 5 k ST. So that's 2050 to 6300 baht per day only for the girl and BF and not including drinks. You will likely fall somewhere in between that over a 2 week stay. BKK shouldn't be too different.

    Thanks for the advice, gents!

Looks like 2-3 K will equal a wild party in Thailand.

But, most GCs don't have ladies dancing. If they have strippers, its a gogo.
That's the current definition of a G Club yes. Do some research on posts from 2015 on this and other Thailand boards and you will see that was not the definition of a G Club.

Wrong. Kinnaree brings in gogo girls to dance on the tables for tips from time to time. Last time we went there were about 20 gogo girls there. They will DFK you with groping and lap dancing for a cheap Kinnaree drink. They don't session in the club but try to convince you to take them when the bar closes. Some were from Sapphire and What's Up last time.
