I have had many questions about my blog. If you did not know there is a bottom section of the forum where you can start a user blog. Shamefully most are started by accident. Many members have clicked on start a new thread from the main Thailand forum screen by accident and their report needed up in the user blog section. They forgot to click on a specific thread, for example general reports, so there post ended up in the user blog section. This section is number 1 used for user blogs, number 2 used for members who have been caged in their own thread by Jackson and number 3 this section houses the archived reports from the past. Here is the link to my blog for anyone who is interested!

I am in desperate need of advice from senior mongers (senior with respect to life not just mongering).
It's not just world's most amazing women that attract me to Thailand; I am in love with Thai culture, Thai food, Weather and Thai people. This farang has a thai heart beating inside. Therefore I am seriously considering permanent move to Thailand (also my passport is running out of pages because of Thailand travel).
I am in information technology sector and it will not be very difficult for me to secure a job (then corporate lawyers will take care of obtaining work permit). Only barrier at the moment is pathetic thai payscale. All this comes at sacrificing few thousand Euro each month. I am 30 and career has just begun accelerating upwards. If you were at my position would you give up a fraction of earning for your passion and increasing thai freebie potential (I have pulled up so hot freebie which I would not have thought possible before visiting LOS)? My heart tells something else but my mind says chase the money and honeys will chase you. I'd really appreciate any advice.

Pattaya offers the open bar set up which is extremely good, Simon complexes for example, tons to choose from, not mentioning the other bar complexes all over the city. FL scene is also very good in Discos and WS or Beach road. I am not a big fan of gogos hence wouldn't comment.
Its would boil down to an individual preference though both cities offer each type of entertainment.

Patttaya is different. If the traffic gets stuck, just get out of the bahtbus and walk: distances are small enough there to do that.

Posts: 327High society girls in MP
I met one babe in Emanuele who is from a affluent family. She was very frequent in Moon bar at Banyan tree (always with family and dressed decent). I saw her 3-4 times during my week stay at Banyan tree. She is one weird lady and I could not figure out her reason. She gives some weird answer that she was working with a foreign company and lost her job so instead of telling this at home she started working in MP. I will not reveal her identity as she begged me to keep this a secret. Are thai girls this crazy that they sell themselves for chanel and prada?

So what destination is better? Should one visit both cities or stick to just one? I'm torn, I love Pattaya but Bangkok does have some hot ladies. Bangkok will cost you more in the long run, everything is a bit more expensive. Having most of the gogo's in Pattaya crammed into walking street has forced the drink prices on draft beer to come down, allowing you to stop into many gogo's without dropping more than 80 baht at a time (including a small tip). Bangkok on the other hand will run you double to visit the gogo's. As to barfining the ladies, each city has different gogo's with different prices. You pay for what you get. I've walked out with a gogo girl in both cities for 2600 baht and have been quoted anywhere from 3600 to 4000 short time in gogo's in both cities.
Who has the best gogo's? My vote is for Pattaya by a hair. Its a close call but I do like the ease of having so many so close to each other. Beer bars abound in Pattaya and their barfine is half the price of Bangkok. But in slow season girls will jump at any reasonable offer, especially if they are closer to broke than normal. Things are just at a slower pace down south. But I'd never do a trip to Thailand without throwing in a visit to Bangkok for a third of the trip. Just too much going on to give any one of these cities a pass.

For Bangkok and Pattaya, what are the worst times for traffic in the morning and afternoon?
