    Really great points.

If a girl really wanted to travel with you, I doubt they'd mind sending you a photo copy of their ID or at least the relevant personal information which is the most basics such as name, age, and passport number.

But yes, the more I think about it the more I am glad this didn't go through. Something about this whole thing seemed so off.

Yes that is really weird. Whenever I am traveling with a chick I tell her to send me a picture of her ID. You do not want to get the name wrong on the ticket. And many Airbnb ask for a copy of the IDs of the people staying before you arrive. I have so many IDs from chicks that I have made a folder for them in my phone picture gallery for quick and easy reference.

Joe Biden has said the pandemic is over. Who the hell is still asking for vaccine cards and tests?

She declined, and that was that. I just said OK and never responded back, with the understanding that the trip was off.

    Tailor in Bangkok

I am a satisfied customer of Rajawongse Tailors:

The location is super convenient, just steps from the Nana BTS station. Bosses Jesse and Victor speak English well and their knowledge of all matters sartorial is nonpareil. They accepted payment in USA Dollars via my personal check drawn on an American bank, and shipped the clothes via Fedex to my office. The suits and shirts they made for me were high quality garments that have lasted over a decade and still look sharp. One thing I did not expect was having to go back to their shop several times for fittings. But was always a pleasant experience in a comfortable place, so I didn't mind. And I must say the clothes fit perfectly.

    No go on the trip

After much discussion back and forth, I have decided not to go on the trip with this lady.

Everything was going well up to the point I was looking into buying plane tickets. I inquired of several travel agencies in Pattaya and asked about pricing, but most importantly, the refund policy should this lady test positive before her flight. She only has the Sino vaccines which is not accepted where I wanted to go. The few agencies I go ahold of told me there was no refund policy in those situations.

The lady had asked me previously if I wanted her to look for a ticket on her own, but I didn't feel comfortable doing that. My only other option was to book a flight online for her under my name which is allowed and at least I know I could be refunded if she happened to test hot. However, this would require her giving me very private information including her real name and the like. I didn't feel comfortable asking her but I asked her if she wanted to give me the relevant information for the ticket, and I also told her not a problem if she didn't want to do that. She declined, and that was that. I just said OK and never responded back, with the understanding that the trip was off. I have known her for a while but it's funny I never really knew her private information but her nickname. It's not like I ever wanted a relationship with her but she was fun, spoke good English, and was good company.

    Now onto the next adventure!

    Bespoke Tailoring in BKK

Not sure if this is the right place for my question but.

I'm travelling to Bangkok early December and one of the items on my To-Do List is to have a suit tailor made.

I've looked through YouTube for ideas but I'm also open to suggestions or recommendation of the more.

    Seasoned BKK veterans.

    Thank you!

If this lady struggled to get through Korean immigration, bringing a bar girl might be much more difficult.
Oh yeah, now I recall reading about all those busts in South Korea with Thai ladies doing massage service. No wonder they cracked down on that. I'll definitely reconsider now.

Maybe 50%of bargirls have a passport. It costs them 1000 baht+ to get one.

You negotiate a Long Time fee with them ahead of time. Like, 10,000 baht for 2 weeks. Easier during Low Season than High Season.

Pro tip: don't rush into it. Take them on a short domestic trip first. Many ladies want to travel abroad, but get tripped up when their husbands object at the last minute.

South Korea is particularly difficult for Thai ladies to enter. I have done it, but it's a pain.

I would suggest a 2 night trip to Singapore or Kuala Lumpur as a start..
It turns out my lady already has a passport, so that is good to go. She doesn't have an approved vaccine and booster though, it's one of those Sinopharm ones. Now I'm thinking of Taiwan or Japan, but not what the vaccination requirements are. I don't know if there are any vaccine requirements to enter Japan. I think they are supposed to announce this week in Japan that they are removing all restrictions for tourists. So that should be a return to a 15-day visa waiver for Taiwan and Japan.

I have multiple questions regarding a trip I want to plan. I'm not looking for any input on whether I should do it or not, but just the whole logistics part of it.

Later this year I plan on visiting another country besides Thailand since I wanted to do something different for my birthday, maybe Taiwan or South Korea as a first timer. I also wanted to have my long time barfine accompany me on my trip. I have known her for five years.

My questions are, for those that have taken barfines on trips outside of Thailand, how did you do it?

    These are questions I had:

    1. Do most Thai people and bargirls have passports since one is required for international travel I assume. I will ask my girl soon but was curious. If you had to get your girl a passport, how was that process?

    2. Did you meet the girl in Thailand and then fly elsewhere together, or just buy her a ticket to your destination separately?

    3. I assume barfines must be paid since she will be working during that time I would be in the other country. How did you deal with this?

    4. Were you able to get special pricing or "discounts" for an extended long time? How would I approach this topic with her, without seeming like a cheap charlie?

    5. How successful was the trip, what did you do to keep the boredom at bay?

That's all I can think of for now, thanks!

You could follow that up with a week in Dubai.

Remember that the ladies don't know anything about foreign countries (they know there is a tower in Paris, but they don't know where Paris is). What they do want are photo ops for Facebook.

Anything longer than a week is a risk. I took a Thai lady to Russia for 2 weeks, and halfway through, she broke down, crying for her boyfriend. She didn't leave the room for 2 days. She was marginally better the last half of the trip. After she got back to Thailand, the boyfriend's wife showed up, and that was the end of the boyfriend. The lady bugged me for another trip to Russia after that.

I took a pair of twins abroad for three months during Covid.

Oh, cool. Can you please tell me what the process is or a link I can take a look at? Thanks.

In about 2015 I was talking to my never-P4P Thai girlfriend about many Thai P4P girls not being concerned with HIV. She said they don't really think about it, you just take a pill for the rest of your life, no big deal. At that time I didn't realize the success of the then current HIV treatments. I suspect they are better now.

I only know one Thai person with HIV. That friend almost died from an AIDS related illness a few years ago, but made a full recovery and you would have no idea they were ever sick unless they told you. The ongoing treatment for this person is quarterly health checkups and a single low cost prescription (I think it was about 400 baht per quarter). The life-changing element is they must take the daily medications and do the quarterly check ups. It is of little financial consequence. Nothing unpleasant after HIV was identified and the initial illness was resolved. This friend reports no adverse side effects from the medication. Maybe other people have different experience.

Yes, it is not good to pass HIV to another person and I'm happy that I don't have it. But, it's not all that terrible if it gets identified in a reasonable time.
