Traditionally a generic weight has always been used for passengers on big planes. Smaller planes you have to input the weight of each person. Flying out of LAX I normally take Singapore Airlines or EVA Air. In both cases the trip takes more than 24 hours.

I often fly Air Nippon out of BKK to LAX, with a quick stopover in Nippon.
