Moving this thought from the Bangkok massage thread

In about 2015 I was talking to my never-P4P Thai girlfriend about many Thai P4P girls not being concerned with HIV. She said they don't really think about it, you just take a pill for the rest of your life, no big deal. At that time I didn't realize the success of the then current HIV treatments. I suspect they are better now.

I only know one Thai person with HIV. That friend almost died from an AIDS related illness a few years ago, but made a full recovery and you would have no idea they were ever sick unless they told you. The ongoing treatment for this person is quarterly health checkups and a single low cost prescription (I think it was about 400 baht per quarter). The life-changing element is they must take the daily medications and do the quarterly check ups. It is of little financial consequence. Nothing unpleasant after HIV was identified and the initial illness was resolved. This friend reports no adverse side effects from the medication. Maybe other people have different experience.

Yes, it is not good to pass HIV to another person and I'm happy that I don't have it. But, it's not all that terrible if it gets identified in a reasonable time.

    My experience today

The Anonymous Clinic is the building up a small flight of stairs situated between the two big beige buildings shaped like water towers.

I probably should have mentioned before that you do need to have your actual passport with you in order to get a test result document with your name on it.

And here's a tip: the "new patient" registration or "old patient" sign in process at a computer screen is a bit clumsy in that the QR Code they want you to use on your smart phone doesn't always work that great and there are many entries on the form that don't really need to be filled in. But there is a nice Thai guy there to guide you through it. Yeah, he might be a bit confusing himself. But roll with it.

For example, on the firm you are asked the reason you want to get tested. "Routine testing" is a sufficient response to type in there. No need to go into your sexual history or submit an ISG punter trip report. LOL.

And I must say the gender or "sex with" questions are not as clear in English as I'd like. What I mean by that is one question is really asking you what gender you are and the next one is really asking you which gender you more recently had sex with. But the way it has been written or translated makes it easy to check the wrong box on one or the other one. So, read that part carefully before checking the box. Not that there is any penalty or some terrible thing will follow if you get it wrong. But since they are asking that question in order to know more about who tests positive or negative for what more often and why, we do want to give them accurate info, right?

I think the Thai guy helping us fill it out is not even sure himself which question is asking which. Maybe they have rewritten those questions recently to be more clear.
I arrived at 10 am and was leaving at 10.40.

2 tests- hiv and syphilis. Got results by email about 1 hour later.

Very smooth operation. As reported, you can fill in a page on a pc with whatever you like- age, name or just initials, I paid 350 b. If first timer you get a well card for future use. There were maybe 20 people total in the varoous waiting areas.

One slight difference for my experience was that they didn't ask for passport.

I have used Magnum Bareskin for years. The other day I was fucking a chick and she kept checking the condom. She said it felt like there was nothing on. I guess they accomplished what they set out to do.

    Cigarette Police

    Some advice to new arrivals.

The "thetsaki" also known as the cigarette police are back along Sukhumvit. Witnessed a couple of pinches today outside Bully's between soi 2 and 4. They operate along Sukhumvit from soi 2 to 26 southside and 3 to 21 northside. For those not familiar with what is essentially a shakedown of tourists who drop cigarette butts on the street this is how it works. Anybody seen smoking is tracked from spot to spot until finishing the cigarette and finding nowhere to discard the butt they throw it away. They are immediately pinched, escorted back to a pop-up desk and told they have to pay a 2000 baht littering penalty. They are not police, they have no powers of arrest, they work for the city but they look and dress like police, so most tourists fearing a visit to the local station pay up. Bottom line, don't drop butts on the street.

    Condom results

I wanted to share my thoughts on 3 types of condoms I have tried with various results.

Body Guard is the Brand Name.

BODYGUARD GREEN COLORED BOX. 85 BAHT (3). A thick condom with excellent length. An alternative for those who like and.

Use Magnum Large Condoms. Width or girth measurement on box states 58. When applied covers most of the shaft.

BODYGUARD PURPLE COLORED BOX. 85 BAHT (3). A thick condom with okay length. Width or girth measurement on box states 56.

When applied covers most about 75% of the shaft.

DUREX COMFORT SKYBLUE COLORED BOX. 100 BAHT (3). A thin condom with great length. An alternative for those who like and.

Use Magnum Large Condoms. Width or girth measurement on box states 57. When applied covers most of the shaft.

In summary, the body guard purple colored condom was too small and too snug. The durex comfort skyblue colored condom.

Is what I use as it almost completely covers the shaft and is not too thick. In my opinion, its a great choice for.

Men who might need a condom a bit snugger in width but equal in length when compared to the Magnum Large condoms.

I have not had any breakthroughs / tears / rips in either of these condoms.

So why not land and go straight to HH? Take a taxi from there to Pattaya. Spend the last night in BKK?

If I were in your position, I would only do 2 locations and stay in only 2 hotel rooms. If you feel strongly about 3 locations, I would change the sequence to Pattaya-HH-BKK. Depending on your flight arrival and departure times, maybe reverse that order. The sequence of BKK-HH-BKK-Pattaya-BKK seems unenjoyable to me.
Greatly appreciate the feedback from you and Bugzy 69.

Had the ferry between PYX and HH still been working this would all have been simple: Land in BKK, one night of fun, taxi to PYX, several nights, ferry to HH, several nights, back to BKK to fly out. No ferry means 3 locations is difficult (not least as they are in opposite directions! Have been to BKK and PYX so wanted to see somewhere else. Hence HH. I totally get the whole nuisance of travel / check ins etc. It's a trade. I either put up with that, or limit to 2 venues as you say. Don't want to miss PYX but also wouldn't want almost a week there.

Really appreciate the words of wisdom. Final request. Any recommendations on best private taxi service (e. G. BKK to PYX or BKK to HH)? Many thanks again.

    Just Pattaya

If you don't have any other reasons than mongering / massages / drinks and good time get a taxi strait to Pattaya for all your nights. Logistically you will waste a lot of time packing / unpacking, rides to / from HH plus checking out / in hotels.

Question I have is whether senior members here think the itinerary is wise or am I better just doing BKK and Pattaya, or BKK and HH? Or somewhere else? Would appreciate your guidance. Thanks.

How do you define it? Here are examples. I want to see your titties. Bend over, I'll drive. Sex talk or innuendos is talking fresh in American English.
