I can't remember the name of the Tailor. I think it was the one near that ancient Chinese restaurant on the corner of Soi 9?

The government is always said they wanted to make Bangkok like Singapore and they're well on their way. I liked the old Bangkok better, and indeed, the old Asia so in January I'm off to Siem Reap again to experience the old ways. Hopefully, COVID won't close the border on me so I can roll to Bangkok once every 6 weeks or so to enjoy the flesh pots. Remember boys, in Cambodia, there is very little "yam yam". If you don't know what that is, better look it up before you ever go to Cambodia.
I tried this once before, moved into seam reap, bought a ticket 6 weeks out back into Bangkok, and the borders got closed due to COVID. Hopefully I'm luckier this time.

They are located on the south side of Sukhumvit Road, about 350 meters west of the NANA BTS station.
Rajawongse is run by a couple of guys named Jesse and Victor. They cater to men looking for traditional business attire. Diplomats, executives, politicians. Nothing flashy or showy. Just impeccable tailoring using quality materials.
It looks like your time in Bangkok might be limited. Be advised the process takes longer than you'd think. In my case, there was an initial visit. Then a couple of fittings several days apart. Then the final fitting. I don't know where you'll be staying between your visits to Bangkok. If it's Pattaya let me know and I can recommend a good tailor there.
Rajawongse accepted payment in USA Dollars via a personal check, and shipped the clothes to me via Fedex in my home country. Very convenient.

Can't hold a job or a boyfriend.
Sleeps all day.
Always asking for money.
Has long stories for her problems.
Can't sit still.
Big clockwatcher.
To sum up, I think she is taking yabba, which is why she is broke all the time.

My Goog search threw up someone called Patrick & Co, and several others a site gave decent ratings to. But who knows. ?
Looking for something for a late summer wedding (not mine! So something light. Apparently the place above does bespoke from around 16 k baht. Substantially less than I'd pay in Italy.

Posts: 1987I have had zero problems with the fit or finish of my taylor made clothing here. I fact I introduced my fabric salesman to a shirt design he told me his Thai Taylor was going to keep as a pattern in the future in case someone else wanted the same design. It was the first time anyone had asked for that particular design. I get two or three fittings for each item I am having made for me. My fabric salesman allocates enough fabric and makes them big initially then has the Taylor alter them to bring the fit just right. My fabric salesman has a fine attention to detail and his Thai Taylor does excellent work. I'm sporting linen. Which is an excellent fabric great for the climate (even though you do not catch me walking around in the heat looking for discounts on anything). LOL!
Oh and I have an excellent Dentist also. But he is in Pattaya.
