If they can host and meet in the morning, I'll be happy.

Posts: 16Reccommendations for Mex City - 9 days (can't host, limited Spanish. Best quick fix)
Tldr; looking for best quick fix options in MXCD.
Reading through different forums and doing some searches, I'm leaning towards staying in Condessa or Polanco. We'll probably get an Airbnb. I'll be with family (siblings, cousins, aunt / uncle) but able to get away for 2-3 hours at a time though usually more morning or afternoon than evening, which limits me. Doubt I'll have a car.
I've used SA and SB with consistent success traveling around US solo (except Miami) since I could set up a pipeline in advance and weed out the flakes pretty quickly (deposit, money for gas, slow responses, etc.) but am not sure if that will work as well in CDMX though there is the huge advantage of finding women who speak English.
The challenge is scheduling. I won't know when I'll be free until the group decides to do something like go to a museum or restaurant across town. I may be able to beg off for a night to say I'm seeing friends but some family members are nosy / pushy and will ask 'Where? Oh. I wanted to go to _ restaurant / museum / whatever' near there so let's share an Uber! Ugh. Still, may try someone like Vero or others recommended in different thre.
In most cases, it may have to be before 10 am or something like 3-5 pm when others are resting and may have to be more crimes of opportunity. I've read massage places aren't the best option but they may be my best bet.
Any other suggestions? Gracias!

Who wants to plan a trip in August? I would like to go with a couple other mongers. I've never been to Mexico City, so it would be nice to go with someone who knows the scene better.

Posts: 2793Back for another great weekend in the CDMX. Saturday night is off to a great start. Met a girl at the apartment. Now I am at my favorite restaurant Rosa Negra. Anybody around hit me up. CDMX Rocks, and SA makes it even better. Living here the dream!! Minus the the rain every day.

Posts: 2793Just touched down in CDMX, back for a few days of fun. This is the first time I flew from the states. I did get a Covid test, but in San Antonio, they said it was, not required. A nice rainy weekend to beat the heat in Texas. I have a busy schedule, but if anyone is around, send me a message.
