I also realized that Azerbaijan is a not a poor country by any standard. Second day she came to pick me up and I got late by 10 minutes and she was fined 20 manat for waiting on the road for me and that fine was duly and politely collected by her from me. Yeah, I got upset, sad and she could feel that during the drive back to my hotel.

One night I did the foolish mistake of going to Club Extra. My plan was to just go for a while, have a couple of drinks and come back to my room with no intention of picking up a lady. Entry is 50 manat with no drinks included. Had my 2 Corona beers, each costing 15 manat and was leaving when suddenly a beautiful chick just came in and stood near me. It is rated as 9. 5 on Booking.com , the reason I chose it for my initial stay for2 nights just to check it out. I also made another reservation in same hotel starting from 3rd till 9th and another one in Nizami Street, the happening place which I was desperate to see. I have cancelled my booking in Liman and shifting to a Nizami Street hotel right in the middle of action, so lively and happening and absolutely wonderful vibes. Next to Hard rock caf and opposite Starbucks. Took a Sim from airport at 48 Mannat and another in city at 40 mannat for 10 GB valid for 10 days. Yes, I bought two, one for my business and another one for private phone. Currency exchange is cheaper in city as guided by my driver and he was good enough to take me to a place on the way to the hotel from the airport. I already had the Bolt app in my phone as have been using in other countries and is best here in Baku. Uber failed twice and drivers do not turn up although Liman Hotel is just across the metro station and on main road. No worries, Bolt took me to Nizami Street and I spent 4 hours there in evening before Bolt got me back to Liman in 3 Manat. Weather is good as of now as winters just set in, evenings are chilly but days not too cold but not warm either. Perfect time to explore the city. Now, that's for guys like who would be traveling first time to Baku..

I came to baku for a trip and tried online. Seems Sn*p m*P.S. And Say Hi are exclusively used for it. But most asked for 300 for 2-3 hrs and scored through Tinder.

Decent experiences but smoking was an issue for me and also reluctance for BJs (But I got a BBJ). Also felt girls were pushy when when compared to SE Asia.

Thank you so much for your revert. I did check the Apartments by passage hotel. Since, it is my first trip, I am not going to experiment and will stick with tried and tested properties by seniors like you or guys who have had their boots on the ground. Most hotels in Baku are Girl Friendly, although most will charge you like 40 Manat to bring in a girl. I would recommend winter park hotel near Nizami street. I tried an apartment, but I didn't like it and didn't feel safe to be honest. It was just a business for them with zero regards to customer service. It was Apartments by Passage Hotel if you're interested in trying it out, I would not recommend.

As for other advice, see my earlier posts in the forum. Baku is an easy place to find girls. Tinder works very well.

Hi Gents. My query is to both Mr Nyezhov and Sir Bloodred. I am travelling to Baku in first week of November. As a first time solo traveler to this place, would you recommend me going in for an apartment or a Girl friendly hotel. Yes, I have read the forum but cannot seem to be able to identify. A couple of my acquaintances have been both to Baku and Almaty 6 months ago to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday and have been singing reams of praises of Baku. They stayed at a 5 star property but I cannot disclose about my trip to them, I have my own reasons. I have traveled to Thailand umpteen times and have read Mr Nyezhov reports; I am looking for a place where in I can bring in multiple partners; the idea is one each day if it is a possibility and my body permits. My idea is to both monger and visit touristy places. Look forward to replies by recent and experienced travelers as well.
