The spa is said to be "above" the restaurant, I think on the first floor. I won't mention the name of the place here as it is new. I hope one or two keen members will explore the place.

If this works you will see Seylan Bank on your left. Going up Walukarama Road, Biota is I think in the same building next to Seylan. Just inside the entrance is the lift which you need to take to the 3rd or 4th floor. This place is generally not recommended, but it is open 24 hours.

If you go further up Walukarama Road on your right, there is Sun Regent. Entrance is 2500 for a massage in an air-conditioned room. There was a Tamil girl there who gave fairly good service, but I haven't tried it recently.

I had a short stop over to Colombo and the section here helped me find my way around so I thought I should contribute even if my experience was rather poor. I guess this forum attracts mainly local guys so my observations might be more relevant to foreigners that make a stop over to the city and want some release.

Do not even bother with mongering in Colombo. There is goes.

I visited 7-8 outlets around the Kollupitiya area as I was staying close. Only in two of them I managed to find the strength to get it, in most of them the filthiness and the stench prevented me from actually entering. And in the two that I did manage to enter the ladies I saw were not appealing at all while a minder was around to oversee proceedings so I wouldn't feel comfortable with a dodgy character next door (door? Hahahahaha).

So I decided to visit the Borella Cross Road place as at least in terms of cleanliness it was getting some good reviews here. Indeed, the place was much better that all the other joints I visited and the massage room was quite big with A/C and decent bathroom / shower attached. Not sure about the cleanliness of the towel though as it had a weird smell.

Anyway, the reception lady / manager greeted me and asked me what I wanted, I said what was on offer and she suggested the feeling massage. She implied that this would suit me best and I would be very happy afterwards. I went for it; she told me that the price would be 4000 for local and 6000 for the indo girls but unfortunately the Indo girls had their day off. She asked if I don't mind an older lady, I said OK and then she said that she could do the massage. Given that she was around 50 and not the best looker I said maybe best to have a look at the younger ladies and from a dimly lit room I picked one of the four that were on offer. The selection was very disappointing, all of them were ugly and not great body either. Even worse, none seem to speak any English whatsoever.

I am not sure if I made a mistake by not selecting the manager, hindsight is a wonderful thing. From what I understood by reading the forum a feeling massage means a HJ at minimum. I didn't get it. Bottom line, from my, admittedly sort Colombo experience, I would say don't even bother with massage joints there. The vast majority of them are filthy, the atmosphere is really off-putting, the masseuses are ugly (this is a general issue in Sri Lanka though. Sorry guys) while the one that was half decent in terms of facilities was a rip off as I didn't get what I went there for. I understand that people have different tastes and also might find filthiness a turn on so I respect their choice. But occasional punters like me who enjoy a sensual massage from a sexy lady in a clean environment without worrying if a dodgy character barges in then better steer clear of mongering activities in Colombo. Best to visit a temple or enjoy the local food.

My budget also limited. Paying 2500 to entrance and tipping girl another 2-3 k is not worth for just a HJ.
