LocalBoy4, welcome to the forum and thanks for your report. This spa was given an unfavourable report on this forum about a year ago. From your report it would seem that it is one of the worst spas in Colombo. If you have the name of the spa and the exact address, please post it so that others can avoid it. Is it Alfred Place Colombo 03 (the road where Durdan's Hopsital is situated)? I have not seen a newspaper ad for this place.

Try Menik Spa in Borella. You will generally get good service there.

The Old Teaboy: thanks for the welcome and recommendation. This awful spa is on Alfred house Avenue, whereas Durdan's Hospital is more towards Colpetty (Kollupitiya) on Alfred place I believe. I first thought it was the road where Durdan's is, because when I searched for Cargills Bank on Google maps it seemed more towards Colpetty.

However, coming from Wellawatta, Spa is just past Bambalapitiya junction (when it becomes Colpetty), you have cargills bank on the sea side. Opposite you have Alfred House Avenue. At the start / corner of Alfred House Avenue you have Clock Inn on left side. On the other side corner there is a travel agent shop. The Spa is next to the travel shop on Alfred House Avenue. You can just about see it standing in front of Cargills bank entrance. Spa is tucked away next to the travel shop.

The name (from what I can make out on google street view) is: Herbal Spa Center.

By the way, is there a sticky (sorry, bad choice of word) post with a list of 'places to avoid'? It's just that I scrolled through all the posts back to February 2017 only, because I thought as you go further back, the spa's (how it's run) can change and the therapist can come / go. Probably should have gone through all posts at least to the start of 2016.

Was my second choice (Sakura in Mount was first but they were closed due to Poya). 2000 Rupees entrance. I asked to choose the therapist. Receptionist said Okay. There were 4 girls to choose from. Some mongers. Chose one called Priy, who was the slimmest from them all.

One A/C for all cubicles. Cubicles have partitions but you can hear everything happening in the next cubicle. There's only one shower for the whole 2nd floor (about 4 cubicles). One monger was waiting outside when I finished shower.

Therapist even before starting massage asked for big tip .5 k. I said no chance. Started massage okay. Then she started chatting loudly with the therapist in the next cubicle while giving the massage. An older therapist comes in and starts talking about giving a big tip to the therapist doing the massage. Which was a turn-off. I ignored her, she went away.

After 20 minutes of massage, therapist says 3000 Rupees for happy ending. I say 1000, she says cannot. Meanwhile the monger in the next cubicle is getting ripped-off. He gets asked for 4 k, then agree for 3 k. I ask her just do the massage, but I want 1 hour. She says only 40 minutes. When I say I paid for 1 HR. She starts jabbering. I keep quiet, not to spoil the mood.

After a bit more massage she says 2000. I agree. She had no clue how to do the shake. Strange because it seemed she'd been round the block.

She gives me feeling massage while I do the shake. And afterwards she takes over, muttering that there is no time left. Shake over. I get dressed and leave. 40 minutes.

Overall: 5/10.

Therapist Looks: 5/10.

Therapist (attitude): 3/10.

Place: 4/10.

WIR: Not at all. The massage was rushed and the place too money oriented. (to get as many customers through the door).

Before I showered, therapist did warn me not to leave wallet in cubicle. So I took it to the shower and kept it on top of the toilet flush, while showering. Thought I'd mention it, because your therapist may not tell you this.

BTW, I found the place through another site. There was no review there. Just where the place is. Don't ever visit a spa without reading a good review or getting a recommendation.

First let me thank all of the contributors to the forum. I have been a reader for about 1 year or so I guess on & off. I have enjoyed the reads, feedback and opinions from members which have in a way introduced me to my adventures of this world.

I wasn't able to purchase a subscription as I didn't have CC (don't believe in them after using too many early on in life) but I have found my way around it. So I I thought I'll start sharing something without asking first.

This was the place down V*jir* road from B main road side. Can't remember the name. Went there around 2 am after finding the place on a website. Not many girls 2 local and 1 Thai. Quoted 1.5 k for local and 3 k for Thai but I got the local one a bit skinny although face was not that good. Too horny to pass up.

Cubicles are open as in not sealed similar to a office with a curtain as a door which was a turn off as what you talk can be heard to other rooms close by. I hate small talk when others are around. One toilet for about 8 to 9 rooms which was a problem but didn't have many people so that was OK.

She started off with a OK massage but I said I'm not here for massage and asked how much for access (didn't want FS) she didn't quote a amount but started playing with my junior. After more conversation I got her to agree for 2 k for HJ & top bottom access only. I like fingering so started that with some cream and kept on continuing while she stroked the junior. She got so turned on she gave me a BJ and CIM which was a great end and bonus too.

Overall 7/10.

Looks 5/10.

Body 6/10.

BJ+CIM 9/10.

Place 4/10.

I won't be going there again due to the place but if anyone has seen good talent there I don't mind.

Was bored and visited the place. Entrance is 1.5 k. Only two were available for selection and another was busy. Selected the skinny girl called Madhu. Chipboard partitions with with curtains to cover the doorway. The curtains were flying around with the wind. This was a bit of a turn off. The girls never try to close these fully which is bad. I saw a guy fully naked on the bed with his flagpole high in air.

After the getting on the bed the girl did an average massage. She said that she'll give feeling with nose and HJ with top bottom access for 3 k. I told her that I don't carry money in to Unknown places. She said that I can pay through card. I negotiated it down do 1000. Shot the load and came out. The girls here are money oriented.

I will consider again before I revisit. Pros are the girls look above average. Cons are money oriented, wear denims and t-shirts, curtained doors, low quality washroom.

I don't think it's with the money.

Thanks to our dear friend LPP1976 directions, why'day I had a chance to visit this spa.

When I called the place the girls said "appointments only" which means no one will suddenly open the door when your are having the 5 K package. Anyway I booked an appointment at 8. 30 pm And left the office. As I Reached there it was around 8 and called to see if I can advance my booking. They said no and there is a customer. As I passed the please I saw a RED Prius parked in front. I waited till 8.30 and they didn't answer. Long story short I was taken in at 9.45. I want inside the place smelled really good. I had head and shoulder for half an hour. The therapist was dark chubby one with straight hair. Had a chit cat and she gave a tease to see how I will react. I act like nothing just to gain their trust. After the session she said to come again. I said OK and tip her 500 total damage was 1. 5 K.

I was in a mood to try out other footspas.

I went to one in Pagoda rod called Fair and Care that smelled like shit and want to Footcomfort and didn't like it either. Planing to visit the first spa soon.

Couldn't contribute to the forum as I'm now based out of Colombo due to work requirement.

However thanks to very few generous seniors I often make my once in a month visit to Colombo very fruitful.

For a all inclusive foot spa, we had only the one operated by the lady code named as "half-Japanese" back then. (She still does it).

But the one I was recently introduced was a real foot spa place located not much far to the Japanese one.

If you walk into this place without a into, you will just get a normal foot massage by one of 4/5 girls available but if you get the proper intro, you can have the maximum pleasure possible from any of the girl or more on your choice.

The fun part is they do not have rooms or cubicles but just the popular reclining foot spa chairs. When you select a girl, others will go into a small room inside the shop until you finish the business. They also lock the main entrance as to show they are "closed".

For mongers who prefers to have action while seated or standing with girl on a chair, this is your heaven. You might even see people walking on the street while riding the girl.

Cost 5 k.

Only for seniors and members I had previous communication would be given intro to this place.

The information here is highly selective and somewhat misleading. The two "Essence" places are given prominence. It is difficult to recommend these two places.

Borella place got raided recently and I have a friend frequently visit there and recommended Thai's and FS for 10k+ 5 k tip. I haven't been there. So some may find the place useful If they can spend that much.
