Posts: 2420Tropical's Senda needs a new menu. I don't mean a new chef. I mean literally a new menu with a ton of pictures. People like me tend to order what looks good in a picture when it comes to food we cannot figure out but want to try.

I know, menudo is not for everyone. It's located in Centro just a block off Revolucion. It's pretty good. Not as good as Menuderia Jalisco but solid. Portion could be bigger.

I went to 260 Grados and a line was out the door. You have to wait in line until they have availability for the number of guests in your party. The all you can eat buffet is 260 peso per person, but we got a couple of soju drinks and dessert. Bill came to 975 peso and left a 200 peso tip. I recommend, but line can get quite long if during regular times like lunch and dinner.

On Ninos at the West end of the alley. They cook a good menu with good ingredients in lard, very good for Tijuana. Their portions are about twice as big as those in the US, good for 2 people.
Last time I was in they did not have beers, so I had to buy a few from the stores nearby.
The closest to Pho is the Caldo de pollo or Rez at Al Capone next to Chicago, very good comfort meal for 70 pesos. Everyone who went there like that soup. Or you can go for the sopa de rez at the HK taco stand. That beef soup is thick and tasty. If you tip the server a few coins he will give you repeat refills, no charge.

Excellent food and service if you need a nice hangover breakfast after a night of mongering. Around the corner from HK.
