The closest to pollo tacos was when I went over to the Mujer Mall and got went to one of the side restaurants that sold BBQ chicken, and they gave me a lot of tortillas, and I asked for a lot of side stuff and made myself pollo tacos. Pollo tacos in Tijuana is kind of like Burritos. They are available in theory and you have to make your own.

Look up Hotel Velario on hotels dot com. It is exceptionally cheap, safe and right near HK. An escort who I built trust with was willing to go there OTC, but got resistance from some escort agencies to go there like Musas.

    Quality and value

On the southwest corner of the intersection just north of the cigar shop near Las Pulgas is my new go to for tacos if I'm in the area. They have a wide variety: lengua, costillas, chicharron, and many others. Nice soft double tortillas and they max out the meat they put in. I'm not a big eater but definitely eat more at a sitting than most and I tapped out after three pretty delicious tacos. At 35 pesos each, I feel like you get 2-3 normal tacos worth of goodness.

I stopped by there just to check it out and eager to get to HK so didn't stick around but the ambiance is very nice and I do want to eat there in the future.

It didn't get great reviews but I think it's cause their marketing sucks a bit. It could be a little gem to go for a little break. It's on the east side of the river so maybe best to go before going to Zona Norte or maybe after before going home. Or a break from the action.

Farmer's Table and The Park Gastro Park.

I recommend the lobster stand. Delicious food but very expensive. That whole area is geared to gringos staying in New City Towers.

Tacos El Franc on Sanchez Taobada could "possibly" have it. I think their old location was the one that started the craze? I could be wrong on all points so don't quote me on that.

The purple striped La Linea bus goes by that area. You can catch it by 4th & Constitucion or 2nd street. It then goes to the border. Not sure the route it takes from the border however?

It will say new city medical. Its a few towers together and go and ask for the food dinning court. It's semi outside I guess you could say there's a ceiling but one wall is open. It's the nicest place I've eaten in Tijuana besides wine country in Ensenada. You can take the bus there from revolucion street if you know how to navigate the buses.

No, you do not need to live their. The prices for what I've been ordering are less than revolucion so I was getting burritos for $8 dollars and chips with guac for $5 The parking garage was only 2 dollars. I've been. A few times and the staff is polite, on par with usa restaurant compared to revolucion restaurants / hotels which can't hide their distain for gringos sometimes. And Yes it is built like a embassy, one entrance from what I remember for the housing section. I waited for a friend one day 1 hour outside watching the fancy cars pull in. You can be a politician, musician, businessman, drug dealer, they all want the new city safety. My 1st weed smoking experience was 5 yrs ago, a girl I met was a house cleaner, of a famous drug lords family. The weed they didn't want she would take home to smoke. She was just messed up and loco enough to be able to handle that job and enjoy their company. They were very good to her sent her home with a lot of food too.

I drive my own car to Mexico. If you decide to go then you can take the free road which takes longer and more traffic or the toll road to expedite your trip. I prefer the toll road which is like 40 peso every toll booth. I think you hit 2 or 3 toll booths, but memory isn't good since I haven't been to Rosarito and Ensenada in a while. Lots to explore in Baja. I would give Valle Guadalupe a pass unless you or your chica likes vino. It is overpriced and places close early.

Shit I don't know and was wondering the same thing while waiting in the sentri line. They got a 12 foot wall surrounding the entire block with limited gate entrance. Slightly resembles our fortress embassy in Iraq.

Not at all but prices are much closer to San Diego. That goes for everything in that building. It will be the first place to follow SD in everything. Especially pricing. Found a two bedroom there for $2,300 but I turned it down. You know that rent will go up into the 2,600 range then up from there. However I do plan on using their medical facilities when I need a doctor. The hospital / lab should be opening soon.
