"It sounded like circus music that is normally accompanied by a dancing monkey." LOL Jackie! That is why I am not a big fan of banda. But the last time I was in HK they had a pretty good banda group playing in the Las Chavelas side. I really enjoyed listening to them while drinking my beer, kinda distracted me from all the putas so that was a first.

Posts: 2420Last Saturday, the fucking band at la Perla fucked up my ears and left a ringing until the following Sunday. It is the worst band in the world. I am unsure what the hell it was playing. It was not even Banda nor Regaton. It sounded like circus music that is normally accompanied by a dancing monkey. On top of that, they served me a fried fish that was clearly frozen when the cook tossed it into the fryer, because the outside was over cooked and the inside was borderline raw and bland. This place is going to hell.

Sign up with the Jalisco Cartel! LOL.
Mexican Cartel 'Cannibal Schools' Force Recruits to Eat Human Flesh.
Sat, February 12,2022, 5:20 PM Yahoo dot com.
A member of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel—his stomach straining against a black sleeveless vest—is crouching over the body of a mutilated foot soldier from a rival crime group. The fallen man's hands are bound and his chest looks like it has been torn open.
Shocking cellphone footage—captured in broad daylight—shows the hitman tearing large bites from the dead man's heart. The cameraman continues to film as the hitman mocks the fallen sicario by pretending to offer him a taste of his no-longer-beating heart. In the background of the twisted scene, another body is partly visible, as is the shadow of someone hacking away at it.
When the video first surfaced in Mexico last month, it quickly went viral. Dr. Robert J. Bunker, a security analyst who studies Mexico's cartels, told The Daily Beast that was exactly the point: It was a public display intended as a threat to the Sinaloa outfit. (The Daily Beast is not linking to the footage due to its graphic and disturbing content.).

Posts: 6517La Perla and other restaurants
La Perla has a small seafood menu, clam, oyster, raw shellfish not as fresh as street carts, serving portions are small, prices high, and the extremely loud bands just kill the whole thing. Shabby locals would take their old, ugly women dining, then dance to that loud music.
We have been going to the shop on Constitucion next to hotel Irma for raw oyster washed down with beers. The guy is a son of the old mariscos man on Ninos next to HK's tacos stand. He keeps all our unique condiments and preferred beer brands in the fridge. Large oyster about 75 cents, shrimp coctele $7.
At the corner of Ninos and Call 2 cathedral plaza, Mariscos Choforo serves seafood dishes, tacos enchiladas, fresh, delicious and cheap, worth a short walk. It has a good following so ingredients are fresh. The other restaurants around the plaza are not so fresh or good.
Msriscos Titos on Maderos and Calle 6 has a large menu with fish tacos, fried fish ect, fresh, delicious and very reasonable priced. I would stop here for a quick lunch before heading to the bars.
Would like to find a good combi steak and seafood places not too far from downtown, or I would just have to hit the AYCE Korean and Brazilian BBQs which have no seafood.

Posts: 585Time and energy to get out of zona for a long meal?
When I visit Tijuana I spend multiple nights.
I have most Sex sessions during the day. Sex / rest cycles (lots of rest).
In the evenings I am mostly at the HK club.
And I get very very tired exhausted.
I never have a large enough chunk of time to go out far for a long meal.
My daytime is sex / rest mostly so I can't add 2 hrs for lunch.
I am not willing to give up time in the club or walking around the streets to enjoy the vibe in the evenings. So long dinner is out.
I eat in some local authentic dives (8056 Primera & fish tacos stall near playboy club, etc) -awesome food that is inexpensive.
At lunch I often get two meals so that I can snack in my room later in the evening with the leftovers.
Wonder how you guys manage to go miles away and have a long meal?
I have also never been able to free up enough time to justify a trip to the Tijuana beach.
