Change the "\" to "/" and you'll get it right :
TEST
this should be blue
this text is twice larger
By the way, please don't use blue fonts in the forum, it's reserved for Jackson.

It doesn't depend on the fonts. I'm using the Unicode coding for the characters and, provided that your computer and web browser support Unicode, the character should show correctly, whatever the font (if that particular font set has that character).
For example, the code for capital "A" is 65. If you enter "& #65;" (remove the space between the & and the #), it will show an "A", whatever the font selected. The tests below are just using other codes, like "& #1046;" for "Ж", or "& #9829" for "♥"
I don't know how PsyberZombie actually did, but that's what I figured out.

Posts: 1454The Cyrillic characters are coming through loud and clear on my PC.
What font are you using to do that?

I also am getting your bold Cyrillic alphabet clearly and I haven't downloaded or installed any Russian languages into my laptop. Nice. BTW, I'm using IE 6.0 on Windows XP-Home Edition.
PsyberZombie,
What font is that?!!
Peace

Posts: 526Hey! Good idea. Looks like some funny new "letters" indeed... Let me try too :
А Б В Г Д Е Ё Ж З И Й К Л М Н О П Р С Т У Ф Х Ц Ч Ш Щ Ъ Ы Ь Э Ю Я
а б в г д е ё ж з и й к л м н о п р с т т у ф х ц ч ш щ ъ ы ь э ю я
RUSSIAN FOR DUMMIES
Привет(Priviet): Hello
Как у вас дела? (Kak u vas dela?): How are you?
Вы очень красивы (Vy ochen krasivy): You're very beautiful
Waooohhhh!!!! It shows correctly on my laptop. Hope it does on others too.
Edited: Just checked on a Mac, it doesn't show properly. A few reasons come to mind : 1) Works on PCs, not on Macs, 2) Russian language installed on my PC, not on my Mac. 3) Something to do with Unicode support in different web browsers?.... Any computer guru out there?
