Just installed Line App.

I clicked on the telephone / call button at the bottom of the screen.

Some of my contacts appeared. Not all. Just some.

One in particular is very concerning. She absolutely must not see anything about me in Line. Perhaps knowing I have a Line account is okay but nothing beyond that absolutely.

I presume these people have Line installed?

To what extent can they see my status / timeline / history / whatever?

This is a real worry. Any advice appreciated.

You must show original passport when you buy sim, if that's what you mean.

Also your phone needs to be unlocked. Which means you need to own it for it to be unlocked.

Very informative. Appreciate it. I haven't signed up for premium yet, maybe when I get closer to my arrival. But I've had a decent number of girls click interested in my profile. I have used ThaiFriendly on a couple of trips. It's pretty good for getting a girl to come to your hotel room for ST and I have also had a LT with a girl that was great. I think I gave some tips on how to use it before:

* Don't contact the girls before you visit, it marks you as a time waster and they may block you.

* Install Line on your phone, it's the preferred way to contact people in Thailand, extremely popular. Whatsapp & Instagram might be used too.

* Get premium membership, pay for a month and then cancel it. That way you get unlimited messaging and are moved to the top of the girls messages (They can get hundreds).

* Select a lot of girls that you like and mark them as favourite but again don't contact them.

* Once on the ground, check who's available. Send them a simple clear message. It's OK to say "Hi. Short Time?

I don't think it's a good idea to book ahead, the girls might think that you are a time waster, it's OK to ask them to come over in a couple of hours but probably not any later.

Some girls are not working but they should be used to the attention on TF, just be polite. And there are those who get enough messages to be picky so don't expect them to come running, I had one girl who wanted a photo from me and then ghosted me. But 95% of the girls are working and available. More than anything, it's all a matter of timing.

While that sounds cool, in general, it sounds like a disaster in the making. I am assuming that privacy is important. What's to say the app doesn't use information from both sides to connect the two personae? Or you just goober it and mix up which profile you're using. I have a hard rule that no monger activity happens on my real life device.
