I was in Halifax this week, try to go the gm, too many cops- Tuesday night their was two cars, and two officers walking the street. so I back up, not very safe. I call the place, 461-2545, a girl answer and told me they were still in business, three girls were working,price is only for the hour at $120 - put with law officer around the place, I don't think that we should try it. The neigborhood are trying to close it, they will succeed for sure.

The phone will work, but the rates to use it are likely to be rediculous just as it is to use Canadian phones in the USA. In February calls home from Florida were $2/minute!

FYI - there were raids on two nights this past week and from the media reports owner, ladies, and customers were arrested and charged on common bawdy house charges. Police also seized the sign! They said they intent to shut the place down.

Gentlemen's Club in Dartmouth has raised their prices. I've been there on and off over the past few years and you never know what you're going to get. In my experience the good ones (usually 30 +/-) don't seem to stay long, and some of the younger ones lack a. looks or b. technique or c. attitude. Also I've called to ask how many are available "now" and been told six or seven; what they don't tell you is that they're all busy or out on call, so when you walk through the door five minutes later there may be one or two, or you may even be told you'll have to wait. So I've decided to skip it permanently. If you do go you can park at the back of the Holiday Inn at 99 Wyse road and walk down the bank through the rear entrance to the fenced yard. For that matter, you can park in the fenced yard beside the place!

I haven't been to Park Avenue (that's the 466-0200 number) for a few years. It used to be OK but some of the girls were just TOO young. Probably not illegal, but certainly not very experienced.
