Fun at Brix

Here's what I recall:

- decided to head to Brix at 11 pm (I was with a buddy and we were having a few beers. Bottles and not tap beers. We drank 5 beers each and we were not tipsy).

- I was drinking G&Ts and dancing in front of the band.

- when I woke up (home), no memory at all of the evening: I had to check my phone to realise that I took a grab at 5.30 am somewhere around Orchard road.

Same thing for the friend accompanying me:

- no memory at all of the night besides when we were having beers and decided to check Brix.

- he however remembers that he was in a cab with two girls around 5 am who actually invited themselves in the cab and its the taxi driver who helped him get them out.

I am used to drink and party all night and my buddy is a healthy 30 year old athletic guy who works out almost everyday.

We both concluded that its impossible that both of us have no memory at all of what happened and believe something was inserted in our drinks. And it took 2.5 days to recover from this evening.

We definitely were not drunk when we arrived and even if we got drunk pissed afterwards, we would have at least remembered the first few hours.

Anybody had similar experiences?

Yes, your approach makes a lot of sense. I met a stunner from Brix a few months ago. She is a Thai girl, very upscale looking and agreed to take her home for 400 bucks for an hour. She lives down the Road in river valley and I have been regularly seeing her at 400 bucks for 1. 5-2 hours now.

The ladies are freelancers. Most will gladly make arrangements to meet you outside the bar if you come to an agreement on price / duration / location / etc.

You're exactly right, the right price depends on so many factors, including, but not limited to: how hot the girl is, how good you think it will be, how horny you are, how loosened up you are, how much longer you will be in that country, etc, etc.

Normally 400ST is way too much, but in that particular instance, it was fine. Next time when I'm in town longer, I'll do more aggressive shopping!

I did pay S $500 once, a long time ago, in similar circumstances! So I didn't mean to sound critical.

I think (and I could be completely wrong) that many (at least a significant minority) of the Pinoy's and Thai's are freelance so are not paying an agent a large cut. They therefore have more room to negotiate. The Viet freelancers I have met tended to be at least in their mid 30's (although still in very good shape, and very good at their art). They are generally good company and I kept in touch with a couple and saw at least one back in Vietnam. She owns a coffee shop in Hanoi now. The other who was working to get treatment for her very sick father in Thailand (he died sadly) had residency in Singapore last I heard.

I used to always go to Brannigan's when I stayed at the Dynasty Hotel right on the corner of Scott's and Orchard (it's now called Marriott).

Always managed to find a P2 P there. Lots of filipinas gathered together in one section plus assorted local girls. Very few Viets way back then though.

I agree P2P did move into Brannigans before it changed to Brix, but at that time the Jockey Pub, and before that the Jockey Club was totally P2P and that was just across Scotts Road. Still expensive at 400ST, but this time it was another viet Angela with blonde hair, who was quite pretty and even better, really, really fun. My friend found a girl named MoonSeh, who was quite beautiful, but not as much fun. Still, we were both reasonably satisfied with our choices. Next time, when I have more time for fishing, I'll go to OT first!

Unless you really have a fat wallet where money is not a concern for you, just head to Ipanema already. For SGD 300 to SGD 400, you can get pretty decent ones there for LT. BRIX is just way over-rated and the name Fun at Brix is actually quite an oxymoron.

Believe it or not but that is indeed the going price at Brix for the top girls. At around peak time, and on a weekend the price can climb to even $600 (Singapore Dollars) and there are people paying that. As the night wears thin the leftovers will take 250 to 300 on a slow day.

Singapore unfortunately has become completely unviable for mongering, except for the ones you can find on social media. There too, you will spend nothing less than $150 for a nice meal with wine before you get to take the girl's panties off.

Of course there is Geylang, but have you seen the crowd there?

Unless you really have a fat wallet where money is not a concern for you, just head to Ipanema already. For SGD 300 to SGD 400, you can get pretty decent ones there for LT. BRIX is just way over-rated and the name Fun at Brix is actually quite an oxymoron.
