Ruby Mart at Pansodan St. And Bogyoke Aung San Rd. Just under the bridge. OR one of the shops in the New Bogyoke Market in the building adjacent to the big new mall. But Ruby Mart best because it's A/C and the meds are fresh.

I'm not familiar with the scene in Myanmar by could someone tell me where does one buy Viagra, Cialis. Or their generics in Yangon?

My experiences and lessons learnt at Emperor in my recent 10 day trip.

1. Girl: Guy ratio is like at least 5:1; so do not panic into choosing early; there's plenty of stocks left over when the night closes.

2. The later you choose; the more mamasans and girls will surround you all night long showing their wares.

3. If you are the choosy type and choose before you see the models parading; you will have buyer remorse like me.

4. Most models will still be available when the night's over.

5. You don't have to buy flowers for the models you like; just beckon the waiter to bring the mamasan over.

6. If the model has been taken for the night, which is rarely; just arrange with mamasan for next day..

My first trip to Myanmar and I went to emperor last night and I used these instructions along with other forum info. I would have been lost without this guidance. Thanks everyone.

I know Grand United hotel near Emperor Club is guest friendly, but I would like to stay at a cheaper hotel.There is 2 cheaper hotel nearby Emperor Club: Sky Hotel chinatown and Yangon Regency Hotel.
Can anyone confirm they are guest friendly?

I can confirm they are dumps, which is what you get at that price. At Grand United, you also get the full effect sound of non-stop traffic and street noise. Preferred choice nearby is the Pan Pacific.

I just checked the price of Grand United Chinatown and Sky Hotel Chinatown for a random date in January 2019. Well, Grand United Chinatown is cheaper than Sky Hotel Chinatown by one dollar and it is nearer to Emperor Club than the other one.

I'll be in Yangon for a few days to visit, so I wanted to get some advice from the expats? Here are my questions:

1) I'm staying at the Pan Pacific Hotel. Is it girl guest friendly? What's the process, do they look at the girl's ID?

2) Emperor is only a five minute walk, so is that the best place to go? Are other clubs offering hotter and more service oriented girls? What and where are they?

3) Are there any happy ending massage parlors in this area? How about non-happy ending massage spas I can take the girlfriend to? What are the costs?

4) What are the best restaurants?

OK, you like to walk. That's nice. With all your daytime walking, how many Myanmar girls did you see walking with foreigners? Just in case there are other clueless people here: always put your date in a taxi. Being seen with a foreigner in what can only be a pfp situation is embarrassing and shameful to a girl in this culture, but obviously, she has to tolerate a dense and stupid foreigner because she needs the money.

Yup, downtown Chinatown Yangon is certainly the walking around city. See the first-time tourists all over gaping at the old and derelicted buildings, snapping their cameras at everything. But, jogging there? That's a joke right? People do that up by Inya Lake. And, never walk from Emperor with a girl. Until just a few years' ago, it was a crime, and even now their handlers would not let their girls go with a foreigner who did that. For someone who says he likes to see a culture of a new city he visits, you ought to be able to have a sense to understand that.

1. I stayed on 16th street; so just under a km from Emperor. There were no issues with me walking with the girl down the street; not with mamasan or the girl or onlookers. Maybe I was just lucky.

2. In BKK; which I visit 3/4 times a year; I walked everywhere too. Even though the novelty's worn off decades ago; it's still interesting to walk and observe the streets. I walked from Phrom Phong to Siam; and that's like 10 km; but it's not an issue with me. I can easily catch the BTS which cost next to nothing, but I prefer the exercise. YMMV.

Yes from a cost point of view. Sorry, I wasn't looking at it from a cost angle at all. I was looking at it from the novelty and exercise aspects.

Novelty. In new cities, I walk everywhere, just to be able to get a sense of the city; enjoy the local scene, sights, sounds and smells. I like to mix in with the locals; have a yarn when language permits; taste their street food and have a feel of the local vibes. But that's just me, YMMV always. I checked my exercise app, I averaged 10 km a day walking in Yangon.

Exercise. I am an exercise tragic; back home I jog 7 km most days, so in new cities; walking is a convenient replacement for my daily jogging, thus killing two birds with one stone so to speak. Again; YMMV.

3. If you choose before you see the models parading; you will have buyer remorse. 6. If you stay within 1 km of Emperor; just wave and taxi drivers away and start walking. Your girl will follow. Do not allow her to push you into a taxi.

Note: PfP is long-established in this country. Poor or damaged girls wind up at places like this. The Quality ones don't get trafficked, they're snapped up and taken out of circulation.
