"It's really more about the balance of power in the landlord-tenant relationship," Flight said, pointing out that a spurned landlord could try to evict a tenant.
Flight said for a single mother or low-income student, that prospect could compel them to accept the request when they otherwise wouldn't.
The overwhelming majority of respondents to the survey identified as women under the age of 34.
Const. James Cadigan, spokesperson for the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary, said consent can't be provided if there's an abuse of authority or trust at play. "Sex acts are to be voluntary," he said.
Depending on the case, he said, that could mean laying criminal charges against a landlord engaging in these arrangements."
Of course, the USA Views it more clearly as a crime than Canada does.

My caution is mixing "rent" with sexual favors. There are landlords that have been charged with demanding sex in exchange for rent and that is a sure fire way to end up in the crowbar hotel. A landlord is considered to be in a position of power, and using a position of power to extract sexual benefits earns you a sexual assault conviction with the same results as a rape. If you own a house, and someone wants to rent and pay you with sex I would be very very careful.

Thanks Serap for the detail breakdown of the approx expenses in Toronto. Looks like I will have to compromise on my mongering in Canada to some extent.

This wasn't supposed to be his budget. His budget will be based on what he wants his lifestyle to be like. It was supposed to get him to think about how he will budget his life in Toronto if he makes a move. Personally for me $850 a month in rainy day fund savings would not cut it and I would reduce the hobbying to once a month if I was making 72 K a year trying to live in toronto.

Rent 2100 a month for a 1 bedroom (you could probably get a studio for 1800 or so).
Cell 50 a month.
Internet 60 a month.
Hydro 40 a month.
Food 100 a week.
After these expenses you'll have 1850 leftover. Girls here are about 200 an hour on the lower end and 500 on the higher end. You should probably budget 250/ week as that's what most agencies charge for an hour. That means you would have 850 per month left over for savings. Obvious these numbers change based on your preferences and personal budget. If you were okay living with roommates for example rent could be about $1000.

Posts: 12I need a little help in deciding
I am 36 yo and planning to move to Canada next year but I am really not sure about the sex scene there. Honestly, the fear of dried up sex options in Canada is holding me back from moving there. I tried looking up on internet but still can't conclude if I will have good time living in Canada with lots of budget quality sex. Could you guys please tell me from your experiences what is the scene there? If I earn 6 k to 7 k per month in Ontario, will it be good enough for decent sex life like once in a week? TIA.

I'll be settling in Toronto and wanted to know if budget escorts are available. All my research is leading me to a range that starts from 200. Any cheaper option available?
