There is no one place really. For strip clubs somewhere generally in the west end might be a bit better. But there are no places I can think of that you could walk to more than one club, for example. I have no idea what other "normal" things you are thinking about. If you mean restaurants and such then the entertainment district in downtown might be good.

Sorry I don't get why someone needs and unlocked phone and SIM. If you already have an unlocked phone then by all means buy a SIM if you want a different number than your US number. But if you just want to use your cell phone to say call and escort agency then just use your regular phone (unless you are afraid to have the number on your phone in case your wife sees it). I think any American cell phone carrier works in Canada. Roaming charges apply of course, unless your plan includes Canada, which many do. But a couple of short calls are going to cost peanuts.

As per previous poster, just get CAD from an ATM. Depending on the girls they may not take USD even if you off to do so at par. Go to 7-11 and get a speakout sim card and pop it in and and / or by a cheapy phone there.
