Excited for my upcoming visit. One question, may be over thinking it but how do I answer "What is the reason for your visit?" in customs? Can I just say vacation and I just plan on being a tourist. I would suggest you look at an events calendar for your time in Montreal. In the summer, there are many festivals. In the autumn-winter-spring period, there is hockey.

Since I like many forms of music, comedy, Formula 1 and the Montreal Canadians, it's pretty easy for me to answer that question. Of course, that doesn't mean you have to actually do any of these things.
