Hi all,
I am thinking on heading up to Montreal for the Grand Prix this summer. It'll be my first time there. I am wondering about vacation rentals vs hotels. Does anyone have any experience with a good vacation rental downtown that caters to mongers or is at least girl friendly? Also, does anyone know if the agency girls allow BBFS? I have mongered in Costa Rica and Tijuana if anyone wants any info on those areas I'm happy to share what I know. Thanks.

Miscellaneous information:

* Hotels are all "don't ask, don't tell". They couldn't care less what you do in the privacy of your room as long as you don't disturb the other guests.

* While BBFS is prevalent in Asia and in some European countries it is almost unheard of here. In my many years in the hobby in Montreal I have never been offered this service. It won't happen.

* Grand Prix weekend and mongering don't mix well. Simple supply and demand arithmetics. In fact many locals will make a point of avoiding downtown completely as restaurants, bars, shops, public transports, etc, will be saturated with visitors.

* The best outcall deals are from the humpchies and annonces123 websites. Usually CAD 160-180 per hour but there are some CAD 120-140 deals to be found. I personally never use the agencies.

* Yes, Montreal is safe. There were 28 homicides on the Island in 2013 and 2014, and 30 in 2015. For a population of 2 million people that's pretty low. Compare that to 280 homicides in 2015 in my hometown of Philadelphia (down from 397 in 2007!) and Philly is smaller than Montreal.

* All ATMS will work with your US bank card except Banque Laurentienne. The fee is CAD 3.

Heading to Montreal this weekend and haven't been in a few years. I know escorts are the main draw in town but that's really not my scene and wouldn't be viable for me this trip. If you are planning a trip during Grand Prix weekend, I would recommend booking a hotel now. Hotel prices during that weekend are exorbitant (Omni-Mont Royal charges nearly three times their normal summer rate), and rooms are very limited, I would imagine vacation rentals would be the same. As for the type of service you're looking for from agencies, I wouldn't even ask, you'll almost surely be blacklisted. Escort availability will also be fairly limited as there will be tons of people in town, but roughly the same amount of girls. That's not to say you won't be able to find agencies with availabilities, it will just take more effort. If F1 is your first priority you'll have a great time, if hobbying is your main goal you may be disappointed. Unless of course, your pockets are deep. If that's the case, I would recommend contacting a few well reviewed indys and pre-book.

I recently saw Emma at Xxxtase and here is my 2 cents. She must have gained 20+ lb. Since those pictures on the agency web site were taken. She is definitely no longer a spinner. Her mid section is quite thick. Along with her DD implant, some may think she is heavy. She has beautiful blue / green eyes, but I thought her fake eyelashes were too much. Her hair was long and somewhat out of control. She did not give me the impression that she takes care of herself. Her English is limited, but she is chatty and has positive vibe. This is 100% accurate. As another poster stated, it's roughly akin to ordering pizza. If you are staying in a regular hotel the agencies will not require I'D details and getting the girl to your room is totally effortless. No one cares.

Just for the uninformed, all hotels in Montreal are girl-friendly. It is not like many places in South America and Northern Africa where a security guard watches everything and guests must register. At a very few Montreal hotels, a key card is required to access the elevators, so the guy must meet the escort in the lobby, which is truly no big deal.

If a person insists on being unbelievably cautious, the Hyatt does not require key cards and the elevator to the rooms is not even in visible sight of the front desk. But Montreal hotels have a we don't give a shit attitude about escorts coming and going from the hotels.

I have only stayed in this particular boutique hotel once. Got lucky on Hotwire.

Love the bathroom shower. I don' t know if they are all the same but the shower was walk-in with literally room for 3 and separate shower heads. Never saw anything like this before.

Small hotel but clean and nice with bar and restaurant.

I stay often at the Best Western Europa on Drummond, have had no problem there. Centrally located and reasonably priced. All guests after about midnight (I believe) need to enter with key card.

But, anybody can enter during the day / evening, have had several girls come up with no issues whatsoever. Good luck.

Read the boards and want to thank you folks for all the info. Will be keeping to the agencies for the quality. Was hoping I could take a small loan on my future reviews. Trying to find a hotel that is guest friendly with a high end feel. Would appreciate any suggestions. Prefer modern to old world and nice bathrooms. Been searching hotels for days and always find some terrible reviews. Any other tips for a newbie in Montreal would be welcome.
