I have not noticed a drop off in young civilians or pros during the summer. It's a place everyone wants to be June through August. Like all the cities in the North, they come alive during the summer. You noted the music festivals. There is the big comedy festival in July.

So I guess what I am saying is that you will have fun in all your MTL pursuits in the summer.

That's true. Summer, especially August, is quite bad as many girl are not working. They are enjoying the sun and partying.
