The rise and fall of venues make a big difference. I don't know if you heard of Help Disco in Rio. It was an enormous disco across the street from the beach and an institution for over twenty years until it's closure in 2010. Girls from all over Brazil would come to Rio, hole up in apartments with other girls and show up at Help Disco. The networking effect for recruiting girls on a national scale was unbelievable. Not to mention, the girls were in total control. They could show up chat up guys, drink, dance and decide who they went home with. This disco also seemed to help hold down prices in the the more hardcore sex outlets around the city.

Venues can have a big impact. Rio pre-2010 was a very different mongering scene. And yes, the girls just disappeared.

I never had a sense that LE was an issue. I know Kirchner went on an 'anti-trafficking' jag a couple of years ago but she's gone now. My point was that what makes a great mongering city, from a non-native perspective, is often mysterious. Why should MTL be so much better (right now) than even Toronto or Vancouver? Why is Zurich good and Paris not so much? I guess that's why we have this board.

Agreed. I have never noticed a problem with BsAs from my own experiences. However, for new comers and sex tourists, it might be more difficult. LE did become an issue for the clubs in the '09-'11 time frame. Also, as you point out, the business is largely geared towards locals. Most of the chicas don't speak any English. So, you have to be willing to do a little work to make it all come together.

I have managed to travel to a few places. I have gotten laid on five continents. However, I have much to learn and there are more places to explore and women to meet.

When I first went to BsAs, I didn't know an empanada from todas de la noche. Thanks to the forum, I have had many years of world class entertainment. I visited BS As about 30 times, during that period. I have seen several hundred providers and of those, only a small handful were 6 or below. In London, I used to use ********* and it was a great addition to ISG. Never had a bad punt in London. I play it safe in the UAE (only really, truly known commodities). I am extremely selective about mongering in Africa.

From research I say Warsaw, Stockholm, and Balkan countries outside of Slovenia are worse. You can find plenty of escorts and massage parlors in Paris if you know where to look.

I spent a good part of 2007-2010 in BsAs. It was ridiculously good. Great women, great food, great wine, great culture and great prices. The city, if you aren't a moron, is relatively safe. With a little homework and a few Spanish phrases, you could get whatever you want. The first night I walked into Black (top of the line chica bar), I nearly shit myself (figuratively). There were about 100 of the hottest women I have ever seen (all 8-10's) lined up along the left side of the room (maybe 60' long room, bar all the was along the right hand wall), just waiting for me to arrive. My friend had brought me there and I was unprepared for just how glorious a place it was. The women keep a little space (maybe 5') between them and you and they all try to look as hot as possible. Many will tell you that Black had the hottest chicas in BsAs. Madaho's had hot chicas too. It was more of a night club feel with dancers and more glitz. At the same time, there were hundreds of 'privados' (private apartments with 3-5 chicas in each), many of which had 7-9's (many did not). However, around 2010, things started to change. The city started closing down the clubs and other locales that facilitated mongering. I think it was more due to corruption (someone knew wanted more money or such) than it was a new puritanical outlook from the govt (it was the same corrupt Kirchner govt). Maybe Christina appointed someone who thought it was his / her job to clean up the city. The thing is, the sex industry in BsAs was quite clean and everyone participated (all the politicians and business men, alike). With my business relations, we had to go out on week nights because weekends were for family. The same was true for mongering. The locals monger all week, except Saturday and Sunday nights.

The other thing that hurt BsAs has been inflation. While the peso has devalued, the prices keep rising at a rate faster than the decline of the peso. When I first wen to BsAs a half hour romp with a 7/8 was around $25. Dinner out with rib eyes, sides and lots of wine was under $30/ head. Right now, prices are starting to decline, again. Maybe it will get good again.

Montreal has world class women. They are less expensive than New York and the culture and dining and drinking options in the Old City are great.

These are important variables in my opinion:

- Attraction to the women (If you don't like Asian or Latin women, you won't go there. I personally would go to Africa if I knew I would be safe and could get a friend (s) to travel with me.).

- Local attitudes (As was mentioned earlier, this is what makes Brazilian hookers the best. Thai girls can be fun for hanging out.).

- Relaxed laws and law enforcement (Obviously. I don't follow the BA board, but I think LE has become a major problem.).

- Low standard of living (Some will disagree, but this is what makes parts of Latin American and Southeast Asia sex paradises.).

- Tolerant immigration (This kind of dovetails the above. Women from tougher economic climates show up in many world cities and apparently drive FKKs).

- Currency devaluation (This currently makes Canada a bargain for Americans. In the third world, you generally will get better prices immediately after a major devaluation. Over time the local price in the tourist cities adjusts back in dollar / euros value).

- Non-sex entertainment (I put this last since many don't care, but I like a good beach, good weather, good food and some cultural diversions).

I would add Buenos Aires, Argentina for white women of European descent. The going rate for an 8/9 is about US $50/ hour, which beats Montreal (about US $200/ hour). However, I expect the Argentinian peso to continue to fade and the bargains to improve. Buenos Aires was a global, cultural center 200 years ago, up through the early part of the 20th century. There is more old world charm (mixed with Art Deco architecture) than you can shake a stick at. Plus, if you like steak and red wine you'd be hard pressed to find a better locale.

Now I've only been to Tijuana, Medellin, and recently Montreal, but from reading reports and opinions over the past few years the best places to monger in my opinion are.

1. Rio / sao paulo for latinas.

2. Montreal for white women.

3. Medellin for the best bang for your buck.

4. German FKK clubs for easiness and safety.

5. Bangkok / pattaya for asians.

All other places are either too expensive, don't have good service, or are not as accessible. From reading threads it seems that Buenos Aires is dead, Lima is not as good as med or Brazil, Zrich is too expensive and there's not that many options. Panama is the same as Costa Rica, and Cartagena is over priced / too touristy compared to med.

Even Bangkok / pattaya and fkks are getting a bit too expensive and have a greater chance of bad service.

My next stop will be sao paulo.
