I would say no. You will almost never find a working girl that you can pick up in any of those venues. Strippers work at strip clubs because they do not want to be working girls. Most of the time. And no, they do not hang out in other places trying to find customers.

I just noticed your question did not get answered so here if my 2 c. I have stayed at several hotels downtown. The last several times at the Residence Inn. Have had girls come to me with no issues at all in any of the hotels. Just remembered one other was a Best Western. Montreal is a world-class city. It is not the type of location to use a strip club as a deli counter and handpick who you want to eat later. If that's your speed, try Tijuana, Jaco Beach, Medellin, Sao Paolo or Bangkok. Your best bet in Mtl are the agencies, or trying your luck at the bars and clubs. In a city like Mtl, why keep your fingers crossed you'll do well at a club when a trophy fish can be delivered to your room?

Basically, yes. XO stopped advertising with them last year, which pissed off the merb dictators. Even mentioning XO in the awards thread and that they were missing would get you banned.
