In this comment the user is simply trying to convey how bad his experience was by saying he would have voted lower if it was phtsically possible.

I see. Thanks for that followup. But that doesn't mean he had found or read the Guidelines before submitting his 1 Star Rating. It only tells us that he had to submit something and could only go as low as 1 before he could submit his essay. I believe it clearly shows he didn't see or read the very first Guideline entry because that is where it says a one Star Rating is the poorest rating you can give a girl and, therefore, he wouldn't and shouldn't be pining for a way to submit a lower one, right?

It also strongly suggests he probably would have expressed his total disappointment in the session by not submitting a rating at all if it had been possible for him to submit the essay review without submitting a Star Rating first. Which is exactly the suspicion I had about the most disappointed Smooci girl customers anyway. Since they have likely never even seen those Guidelines, it is also likely that many of the customers who don't submit a Star Rating at all assume that by doing so they are giving their girl the worst possible rating and thereby ratcheting down her overall score when in fact that mistaken assumption is instead only bolstering and giving greater weight to her perhaps much fewer higher ratings.

This is the inherent pitfall of presenting a Star Rating system but with little or no effort given to making the guidelines, standards or basis for those ratings known by everyone, especially when a 1 Star Rating instead of a zero rating is the worst rating you can give. The end result is more counterproductive to informing customers with the ratings rather than productive to informing them. Once you have decided to provide a Star Rating under those conditions, it isn't as benign as that the Star Ratings aren't telling us very much. It is that they could actually be actively misinforming customers and unduly rewarding poor providers relative to good ones.

You seems to be a massive fan / critique of the review system. Yet you don't know that it is not possible to submit a review without giving a rating of 1-5.

I now even see less of a reason to have the ratings guideline on the site at all. It is not required, written reviews are the best.

The essay review option is new and available only to the premium / pay subscribers and so I did not know you can't submit an essay without rating first. I went through the Smooci booking and rating process with two customers, but only as a passive observer to see whether or not the rating system would have been known to them and therefore reasonably relied upon to represent whether or not the girls did or did not perform the requested services listed on their profiles. My observations told me they do not because neither of those guys had a clue there were guidelines on Smooci's site that rather nicely drew a clear distinction between say, a 2 vs a 4 star rating based on whether or not the girl delivered those services.

Based on the examples I have now seen of the essays, I have no reason to assume the customers submitting a rating, even though it is required, have seen the guidelines any more than the two guys I observed did either. Premium / pay or not, I seriously doubt more than a tiny fraction of Smooci users have found, seen and read those guidelines in order to have a hope that the girls' ratings might even vaguely relate to whether or not the girl actually delivered all requested and services listed on her profile. Even the essay writers likely submitted ratings based almost entirely on her looks, his perception of her demeanor, his level of desperation to finally be alone in a room with a naked lady, whatever.

I enjoyed using smooci in my early June visit to Bangkok and booked 5 girls with varying experience but generally I was happy and impressed. Now I intend to visit Bangkok again but only for transit purpose and will be staying for a night. I wonder if it's possible to just give my name and hotel name without actually giving the room number when booking because I will not get my room number until I check in with the reception.

I'd appreciate if any of you could share your experience on similar occasion.

We don't have a strict policy on this, as it would depend on which agency you are booking with through Smooci and their personal policy.

When you make the booking type 'not known yet' in the room number, and in the special request section, explain the situation.

The booking will then be sent to the agency with all the details and it will be up to them to accept or reject the booking, but I think most agencies would accept the booking.

If he had, he would have seen with the very first entry that a one Star Rating IS the lowest Rating he could have given that girl. I wonder if he didn't submit a rating at all on the mistaken belief that by doing so he was making his disappointment with her known and negatively influencing her overall rating. Instead, his not submitting a rating at all, if that is what he did (does it show on his review?), did nothing to downgrade her overall rating and instead gave greater strength and influence to any higher ratings she might have received.

Firstly after getting past my bank's security concerns about who was getting my Credit Card details and avoiding telling the lovely lady from the security team that Smooci was a website to select hookers from at the best possible price, I had started checking it out.

Yes, you can book up to 24 hours in advance, actually more like 23, and also for one hour.

Photos have a 'verified' tag, not all are verified.

Big difference is the reviews, they sit as an option just below the star spot and open up as part of the existing 'Escort' page below Service.

The number of reviews is visible before you click on it.

The reviews are dated by month and year but not day of the month, the length of the booking and the individual star rating.

Escorts without an overall star rating still have reviews listed up until they hit the minimum required for overall star rating.

Quality of reviews are varied based on the author, they range from one or two words to quite extensive responses.

Most bookings are for two hours.

Many negative comments on;

Age discrepancies (there are a lot).

Whether the photos are realistic or / and old.

Weight gain.

Skin tone.

Escort demeanor.

Services provided (and not provided even when listed).

Drunkenness.

Being late, leaving early.

Here are examples;.
