Only those posting current information are providing something that others (especially newbies) can learn from. Even those with lots of experience in the Dominican Republic and can learn from current information. But I stepped back from the forums for seven months. Returned, RTTF and learned nothing from except from a few posters that I respect. Most of my knowledge comes from personal conversations with those that I have met both on and off the forum.

The back and forth that some like to engage in with me is just verbal tennis. A logic exercise that helps me keep my English writing skills up while immersed in a country that speaks Spanish. It's fun, but I prefer posting information that someone else might find useful. Like my review of Dolce & Sopori. Yes it is my opinion but it is a fact that it is there. And I knew nothing about it until I happened upon it myself. And yet another critic chimes in with a problem that I am sharing information about Sosua (his kingdom). You would think he would be happy that someone is speaking positively of Sosua.

Especially given all the negativity that is found in the Sosua forum. One of the reasons I tend to say out of that forum. I've always said that I enjoy my trips to Sosua. But that is what they are.
