That is why I post what the initial offer was and what I actually paid. Cause after almost 20 days in The Sue. I still do not know what the fuck is "the going rate". I can tell you though that the hottest chicas on Tinder ask for a 100 USD = 5500 DOP. The ones that negotiate with me (and many will not or they will only come down to 4500 or 4000) will finally settle at 55 USD = 3000 DOP.

In case none of the experts chose to chime in (and by no means to I consider myself an expert), I think is was a simple case of the chica deciding that she could pick up some money (or some more money) before she left the premises. And some money is better than no money. It was 3 AM after all. And I get the idea that these were simply her preferred working hours. I usually hear from her in the afternoon. Maybe because I "held frame" she respected that or she decided that she had initially sized me up wrong. I've been in The Sue long enough to post up enough useable intelligence to shut my critics up. I see they are taking Will Smith's advice. By the end of my trip, it will be 18 days.

There is a rhythm to The Sue. On a Sunday (which is my favorite day by the way) it is like any other town. Many of the businesses are closed. Streets are empty during the day and things are very quiet. Everyone is resting up after The Sue's biggest day / night: Saturday. In the evening there are still those out offering their social / sexual services. But the numbers are way down.

Above the Bar are two flat screen (are there any other type these days) TV's with the basketball playoffs. But there is not a person in the bar other than the employees. She says it's slow today. It was a Monday. What caught my attention more than anything else was the music. I liked it. I made a note to return.

And so, after a excellent dinner at a restaurant where I am a VIP (to be reviewed) I found myself walking home again. But this time I was headed to the bar. I saw the same lady I had talked to before and she escorted me up. I posted up at the bar and ordered a shot of Patron. Silver.

She escorted me up this time sat me down and explained that to the bartender that I was her friend and ordered me a shot off their Mamajuana made by them. On the house, no less.

After the game was over and I was finished with my drink I was wondering around the bar stropping at the each speaker. I have a professional background in sound systems and personally I am audiophile. There system was unbalanced and the bass was muddy. It was not clean. She was watching me and walked over to asked me what I was doing. I told her the sound system was messed up and explained what I heard. She said she knew. I explained what adjustments they needed to make. She went over and spoke to the person that seemed to be in charge and he went over to the DJ booth and shut the music off and began to make adjustments. After he finished he fired the music back up and he had fixed the problem. The sound system was balanced and the bass clean. I gave him a thumbs up. Now that is customer service. I explained that this was my new spot and I want it to be the best it could be. It was already attracting a type of crowd I don't like but I didn't let them bother me over in VIP. I was posted up at the bar enjoying the music and game. I ordered a Smirnoff Ice (red label).

Not being critical about how other men spend their money or how they do other things in their life in the Dominican Republic. But I guess that is what makes me a man in the arena. My find a couple of days ago was Cafe Bar Otti. A German cafe that sits across (more or less) from the Alisha Beach hotel. What kills me is between the time I stayed at the Alisha Beach hotel and the Waterfront hotel how many times I walked by the place and did not even give it a second look. Must have been sleep walking.

A German friend of mine (who also told me that his girls tell him the black clients are the worst cause they all have big dicks and penetrate deeply. LOL!) showed me this place.

They only speak the German language up in there. It was a trip to be so proud of my Spanish language abilities and then to sit for 45 minutes to one hour enjoying my dessert and coffee and not understanding a single word that anyone was saying. But the coffee was excellent and the dessert was a mandarin cream pie. I had never tasted anything like it before. Mandarin oranges mixed into a cream filling. It was off the chain! The owner makers all the desserts by hand each morning. He makes two types and rotates them each day. I returned a few days later after my first visit to find a peach pie and another one I did not recognize and given the language barrier between us he could not get me to understand what it was. It had a deep red topping of some type.

So, I went with what I know. He had one piece of Mandarin orange cream pie left and that was my choice for the day. I got it to go, And it was 150 pesos. I had exact change. The owner was very pleased to receive some coins as we all know how hard it can be to get change in the Dominican Republic. I find that to be changing a bit from when I first arrived here to live (not in the puta pueblo of Sosua but in a real city) many years ago. The owner indicated that he remembered me. As I came in with his friend a few days ago. How hard could that have been? Tall good looking black guy who could not speak a word of German. Doubt if he gets many clients like me. LOL!

If it's one thing everyone is saying about Sosua its that Black "weekend warriors are "ruining it" with overpaying.

Who exactly is saying this? Guys on ISG? The street Chicas that some proudly write that they don't do? The owner / operators of businesses? The employees of those business? The transportation people? The individuals selling "vitamins" on the street? The business renting vehicles of all types? The government of the Dominican Republic?

It is harder to get the sexual services in Sosua that I seek at the price I want to pay now? It sure it! Is that the fault of a particular group? No it is not. It is a function of the market. The pussy market in Sosua. In every market where there is high demand and low supply the prices go up. Even though there is a huge supply of pussy in Sosua. It may not be the type of pussy you want to fuck. Girls that have a certain look have a certain appeal to different groups. If the demand for girls with that particular look is high then the prices will be too.

The music was good. I turned around and walked out. Checked out the court yard, it was dead. But it was also early like 10 PM and I know those places get started late. Strip Club culture is not my thing. But I certainly do see the appeal of the venue. For me it does not represent good monetary value.

Interesting that you should say that. Because every business establishment I have been in has accepted my pesos with a smile. I am on a first name basis with four business owners and receive 5 star service there. The only reason a chica has ever said no to me is because of price: "Es muy poco amor" (Is very little love). Now I may get high quotes because they don't want to go with me. But that is really not the case. Because they are willing to go with me if they are getting the money they want. Reading of the stories that are being told, about certain clientele, I have to make sure I am not drinking anything so I don't spit it out while I am laughing so hard.

What some do not realize is that it is the peso (or dollar often in the case of Sosua) that is welcome. The person spending it, they could care less about. I see and have met all people from all over the world and from many cultures in Sosua. I have even met and talked to black guys while in Sosua. In my opinion, the negativity being expressed by some, it is an ISG thing bro. Exists in the minds eye and hearts of certain posters with superior attitudes toward others that are not like them.

I appreciate the variety of options especially when it comes to food from owner / operators of restaurants who are from the places where the cuisine of the restaurant originates. And service is at a completely different level. Many of these restaurants are punching well above their weight value wise. All at a very reasonable prices (at least for me). And within walking distance. For the adventurous you get off the strip and things open up for you even more. What I do notice that people tend to congregate where they are comfortable. I do the same thing. I go where the atmosphere works for me.

Yeah, I know a little about the puta pueblo of Sousa. How hard is it? But now I know an entirely different level of Sosua that works for me. Shout out to Mr. T and his bevy of chicas. And so I enjoy it so much more now. I still don't live there. But I can certainly see the appeal of the place for old expats from all over who have taken down their shingle, called it a day and are just waiting for death. But they choose to keep enjoying their life until it comes. I could live like that. But I'm not there yet. So I will continue to enjoy Sosua when I have free time to do so. And the rest of the island of Dominican Republic. And I may even post about it. No matter what KOS thinks about my activities, methods of operations, opinions and posts. LOL!
