You won't find much info on escort agency sites here. Most of the contributers here are experienced and frequent mongers. I believe most have found that, for them, they get better experiences for less money by avoiding the escort agencies and using the other options available.

In Bogota those options are (by price, low to high):

Santa Fe street girls.

Santa Fe clubs.

Chapinero day casas.

Online ad sites (Mileroticos, Photoprepagos, etc).

Massage Parlors.

Chapinero clubs.

Twitter.

North Bogota clubs.

The guys who stick with escort services seem to be mongers of opportunity; business travelers, who when away from the wife take the opportunity to get a little. They don't tend to leave many reviews.

Stayed at hotel San Francis for 3 days. Biggest problem I have with the hotel is their cheap thin curtains. Its not good enough to block out the light in the morning and its a pain in the ass to wake up in the morning after late night partying. I also found the hotel sub-par compared to IBIS. If money is not a problem one should definitely stay at IBIS.

Ibis was very good. Good AC, good darkout curtains, safe worked and was bolted down properly. As compared to Hotel San Francisco de Asis no blackout curtains, safe doesn't work, not bolted down, no ac (doesn't have it) and it warms up a little on an east facing room, some receptacles not working, great view looking right at Monserrate though and breakfast included plus playtown is just a few blocks over. Unlike Bangkok none of these hotels have mini frig in the room which kinda sucks. Ice doesn't seem to be a thing in Bogota. They can keep the arepas and give me ice. LOL.

Agree 100%. Did not see any A/C venting in my room, however there was a window which opened outside. Very noisy on weekends until about 2 am, with a club downstairs and the lobby is on floor 3.

However I would recommend not using the IBIS taxis, they try to charge triple what the street taxis charge for the same distance. I took a taxi Saturday to the Mezzanine 104-15 and the Ibis taxi said 35,000 pesos. I said that is high. He then said 25,000 pesos. I took a street taxi back to the hotel for 12,100 pesos.

There's a dubious similarity between Colombia and Philippines when it comes to food. They're both awe full.

Can any of the experts here point me in the direction of some good healthy food? A sandwich bar with quality ingredients? A pub with a Sunday roast? Authentic Thai restaurant?

The lack of quality food in both there's countries ensures I'll only ever pay a fleeting visit. I feel like my Aorta is going to explode if I eat anymore fried chicken.

Try Wok, is a chain and they have many locations is very good SE food. Other option is Osaki.

Masa, has salads and other healthy options, they have 3 locations.

I never had any trouble finding healthy food in Colombia. Go to the food court in any mall and you'll find several places serving comida tipica. Generally a plate lunch will consist of your choice of grilled beef, pork or chicken, rice, a small salad with a light dressing, fried plantain, avocado, a bowl of soup and your choice of fruit juice. Some will have fish as well, but it's generally fried. Some add in potatoes or yuca instead of, or in addition to the rice. Price for all runs between 8-18 k.

Ajiaco or cazuela is also a reasonably healthy alternative. Although I don't know a specific place in Bogota, you should be able to find a place which offers a great selection of fresh fruit salads, along with various juices and smoothies. In Medellin try Salpijugos in Envigado. Fantastic menu. If I remember correctly, one salad I had there contained 13 different types of fresh fruit.

Another alternative is any Peruvian restaurant. Excellent food and more seasoning than most Colombians use. Or check out the Mexican restaurants. Although the menu in most doesn't offer what you'll find in US Mexican restaurants, I've found most to be delicious.

The only problems I've found are:

Low end Chinese restaurants are blah.

Some cheap restaurants off the beaten path are pretty bad.

Colombian food in general has a lot less salt.

If you can't find something good to eat in Bogota, you're not trying.

So I will be in Bogota Wednesday morning.

Searching for some action from 8 am to 11 am.

Should I take the north version with:

Avispitas, tantra 72 and viaspa or the south version with:

Nanxing, adhara and dulceria?

Does anyone have recommendations to any girls of the above parlors?

I'll be in Bogota just for a stopover I would land at 4 am Next flight at 1:30 pm. I will come from Europe so jetlag it's no problem: at 4 am I'm completely awake so what would be the best things to do? I would be interested in massage or in Girls Clubs whatever you suggest. Should I hire a taxi for all the time or is it enough to drive somewhere and drive back to the airport? Money exchange or creditcard? Do I need internet? Because I have no roaming availability. I'd see how early she would be willing to come to this particular hotel, but I would make sure you contact her well in advance of your arrival. I wouldn't hassle with phone internet or Uber if you go this route.

I never got a massage or even met her, but she seemed very nice and professional when we communicated.

Your other option is to grab a cab to Hotel Ibis or if you are daring, a hotel in Santa Fe. Woodman may have a recommendation for you on this.

Ibis has airport transport so you may be able to get a free return. I am not sure if they will pick you up at 4 AM though, so you might need to get a cab. If you pay over $10 USD or 35,000 COP, you are getting ripped off. The official taxis thing is bullshit. Best price is actually Uber, but it's a hassle at the airport.

Get your room and then walk or get a cab to the Santa Fe streets and ask the Venezuelan hotties there to give you a sample back rub. Chances are you will find one who will satisfy your needs. If you can't get a room, an hour long massage, and a happy ending or FS for $50 USD, I would be surprised.

I'd budget $50 or so if you want to take them back to Hotel Ibis. This is the route I would personally take if I wanted a massage and more as I thought the hotels in Santa Fe were kind of gross. Good luck!
