Next is size. Bogota is one of the largest cities in South America. Traffic is horrible and most mongers don't like to use the Transmilenio, which is often overcrowded to the point that defies belief. The Medellin Metro also is often overcrowded, but it's much better than the Transmilenio.

Attitude is another area where Bogota falls short. People in Bogota always seem to be in a hurry. They seem a little more distant to me. People are friendlier in Medellin.

Medellin is also cheaper, overall, than Bogota, although either city is a bargain by US standards.

Completely agree. While I lucked out with the weather during my visit in June, the altitude was a problem. It wasn't as bad as Cuzco, but any physical activities including the one associated with this hobby, would inevitably lead to shortness of breath and sometimes diziness.

However, not everyone will experience these issues, so I'd recommend to stay for at least a couple of nights and see how it goes. I actually liked the city and enjoyed doing some touristy things, too.

I have used the service several times. She explicitly states in the interview process not text messages or emails and everything is done over the voice. As you have found out, she does not speak English. If you use a translator for the initial interview, you will inevitably have problems when you are trying to set up a date because there is some back and forth communication that must be done over the phone.

I was afraid this would prove undoable. Oh well.

As far as I understood, she will never comunicate by writing in spanish or english whatsover, everything is by telephone, probably to avoid any legal issue. She has no staff, so she will not hire any english speaking employee just to attend 2-3 gringos a year. Easiest would be to ask someone else to make the call for you. As the interview can be done through visio, your spanish speaking buddy can help you to get also through the interview.

GENERAL

I have travelled and mongered in 80 different countries, but those who remember me from my posts a couple of years ago know how much I love Colombia. I'm settled now, living and working in Bogota since 4 years. This FAQ is a complete report about all the mongering options available in Bogota. It's not a compilation of info I found in Internet, I have visited all the described locations, so information is updated and double checked. I went through all the locations of World Travel 69's excellent map.

Any discrepancy has been communicated to World Travel 69, so info on the map and in this FAQ should be the same. As info changes all the time, this is the updated version on October 2018. Don't hesitate to communicate any additional information to keep this FAQ updated. If you sum it up, this description reports around 2000 sex works in a shift, which means probably some 4 000 in total. Official stats claim a total of 14 000 sex workers in Bogota, it seems over estimated to me.

Comparing the Bogota scene with the rest of Latin America, it all depends what you are looking for. My personal rate would be Rio first, Buenos Aires second and Bogota third.

- In terms of looks, I would say Buenos Aires first, Sao Paolo second and Bogota third, but then again it's personal because I'm more into European looking girls.

- In term of ethnical diversity, Colombia comes third after Brazil and Cuba.

I use to say that if you are looking for PSE, go to Rio, if you are looking for GFE, go to Bogota. Why is attitude so good in Colombia? It's cultural of course, as Colombians are genuinely nice people and girls are full of passion and tenderness.

Keep in mind also that unlike what happens in other parts of the world, sex workers in South America in general and in Colombia in particular are independent girls. Organized crime is not interested in prostitution. Narco-traffic, or extortion is way more lucrative. For cultural reasons, pimps are inexistent here, as Colombianas are grown up that men always have to pay for everything. For most girls, prostitution is just a period of their life when they need money, which means between 20 and 30 years old before they meet a husband. You will nearly not meet prostitutes in Bogota over 35 years old. As most girls are independent, it is very easy to get her phone number and meet her outside the club. A recent trend in Bogota is the increasing number of Venezuelan girls coming to work in Colombia since situation in Venezuela is getting worse and worse. According to social workers, 30% of girls in Santa Fe are now Venezuelans and 90% of these Venezuelans were not prostitutes in their home country.

Regarding physical look, there is a wide range of ethnical diversity, European, African, Native Indian and any type of combination with the three of it. As most people living in Bogota come from every corners of the country, here is where you will find most diversity. Physical hygiene and look is very important for Colombian girls. Even if it's less than in Venezuela or in Brazil, there is a lot of plastic surgery especially among pros. All girls are shaved, have long hair and very few girls smoke. Tattoos and piercings are not as common as in USA or Europe but starts to be also a trend in Colombia especially among pros.

HOW TO GO

Most nationalities are allowed to stay 3 months without visa in Colombia with a possible 3 additional months. There is no mandatory vaccination except yellow fever if you intend to travel to the Amazone.

From Europe to Bogota, there are daily flights with Air France from Paris, KLM from Amsterdam, Lufthansa from Frankfurt, Iberia and Avianca from Barcelona and Madrid. Two new airlines have started recently, Turkish Airlines and the low cost airline Air Europa.

Avianca, Copa, LAN will connect Colombia to any Latin American country and the USA as well as the major Caribbean Islands. American Airlines, United Airlines and Delta have all direct flights to Bogota from the USA, as well as Air Canada from Canada, Aeromexico from Mexico, La Cubana from La Havana, Avior and Conviasa from Caracas, Aerolineas Argentinas from Buenos Aires.

There are no direct flights between Colombia and Asia or Africa.

Rain season is during spring (March, April, May) and fall (September, October, November). Best is to visit Colombia during winter (December, January, February) and summer (June, July, August). Avoid at all cost Semana Santa and Christmas holydays. During these weeks, there is virtually no mongering and other night life, air flights are overbooked; Bogota and Medellin look like ghost cities while Cartagena, Santa Marta and San Andres are overcrowded and hotels overbooked.

Don't forget to bring a coat even if Colombia is on the Equator, as Bogota is at 2600 m and temperature drops easily to 10see at night. Don't forget also to learn a bit of Spanish before to go, as most Colombians don't speak English.

MONEY

The rate is 3000 Peso for 1 $. Don't bring cash dollar as the going rate in change offices are not very good due to excess of cash dollar in Colombia (narco traffic history). For safety reason it is also not recommended to have high amount of cash. Best is to use ATM. Most ATM will not deliver more than 300 000 at a time, but you can make as many cash withdrawal as you want. As there is a fixed fee for each withdrawal, best is to choose always the highest amount. Bancolombia allows up to 600 000 and the green ATM from Servibanca have a maximum limit of 780 000.

Minimum salary is 250 $ and a local lunch will cost 2 $.

SAFETY AND HEALTH

For any emergency, call 123. Each neighborhood has a CAI, a local Police station.

Bogota has excellent private clinics as long as you can pay for it. If you have a health issue, I would recommend www.miclinicavip.com.co CL. 97 #23-10,tel. (1) 7452727 as they are specialized in foreigner without local medical insurance.

Viagra and Cialis is available in any pharmacy without prescription. Viagra has a faster effect but last just 4 hours while Cialis while last for 2 days. Generic Viagra (Sildenafil) will cost 5 000 a pill. Generic is not yet allowed for Cialis and original will cost 25 000 a pill. Side effects might be head ach with Viagra and back ach with Cialis.

Tap water is safe in Bogota, food is hygienic as long as it is not sold in the street. Some people might feel uncomfortable with the thin air due to high altitude and contamination. Major effect is lack of breath while for example going up a stair or trying to run. In very few cases some people experience head ach during the first night. After a couple of days, organism should be adapted to high altitude.

Colombia used to be the most dangerous country in the world, but Pablo Escobar is dead, peace has been signed with the FARC, murders and kidnaps have dropped drastically with a factor of 100, Bogota being now in the average of South American cities of similar size, which is still high of course. Kidnap and murder is definitely not an issue anymore for a foreign tourist as long as you are not involved in politics and drugs.

Petty crime is the major issue nowadays. As soon as you arrive, put all your valuable belongings in a safe and keep only a photocopy of your passport and cash for the day. It's OK to walk in the street by night in the Northern Area (roughly between Calle 67 and Calle 153 between Autopista / Caracas and the mountains) but always use a taxi by night outside this area.

Foreign tourists are king in Colombia, police will never bother you as long as you are not involved in drugs or minors. Crime is not targeting tourists and most Colombians will have a safe look on tourists in order that nothing will happen to them. Regarding mongering activities, prostitution and pimping is officially illegal but widely tolerated as long as no minors are involved and there is no violence or human traffic. In Colombian culture, people respect private life and it's of no one's business what two adults in mutual agreement might do in a private environment. There are however several gringos in Cartagena and Medellin that ended up in Colombian jail because of mongering with minors. Be sure that if you pick up girls on the street or internet they have to flash ID in the hotel / motel / apartment where you bring them.

Never leave your drink unattended, never accept an open drink from strangers, even girls, Roofies are used for robbing, not for [CodeWord125] in Colombia and is pretty common in Zona T. WHERE TO STAY

Best and safest is to stay around Zona T and Parque 93, the two areas where you will find all the nightclubs, bar restaurants and malls for the upper class. All hotels are girl friendly. In Colombia, people respect private life and it's of no one's business what two adults might do on mutual agreement in a private area. There might just be an additional cost for double occupancy. Best is to pay double occupancy when registering the room in order not to have to manage it at the moment you want a girl to enter. Girls like any other guest need to show ID, which is also for your own safety. Of course, in the Nrthern area are the most expensive hotels of the city, but a great deal is: www.viaggio.com.co, full furnished apartments or studio for 180 0000 a night including breakfast. They have several buildings in the area, my personal recommendation would be the Virrey, at a walking distance from both Zona T and Parque 93.

Some people just come exclusively for Santa Fe. I however would not recommend an hotel nearby Santa Fe, this area is one of the worst area of Bogota. The closest safe and comfortable hotel I would recommend is Ibis http://www.ibis.com/es/hotel-7318-ib...o/index.shtml. Price is 180 000 a night.

With https://www.airbnb.com.co you can now rent furnished apartments on short time. Short term furnished apartments do not always mean more privacy than hotel, as often the owner lives in the same building or house and most buildings have safety guards asking ID to any visitor.

If you don't want to bring your girl at your own hotel room, this is a great love motel: www.amartesuite.com Calle 62 #14-19. Actually there are dozens of love motel in the same block offering rooms with hourly rate. Problem is that love motels respect privacy and will not ask for ID. For your own safety, don't bring a girl here from the street or from internet that has not been registered in a club or agency. For safety reasons, motels therefore will always check that both guests leave the room at the same time.

In order to avoid roaming cost and to allow the girls to contact you, best is to buy a local prepaid SIM card (Movistar or Claro) for 20 000 (or 90 000 including cellphone). Additional minutes can be bought at any Carulla or Exito store.

LOCAL TRANSPORT

Local transport is a nightmare: traffic jams, overcrowded buses. If you are in Bogota just for a few days, easiest is to take the yellow taxis, a trip will cost you between 6 000 and 15 000,25 000 for the airport.

You don't need really any guide, as all the required info is in this FAQ and any taxi driver knows these places. Any taxi driver could be your guide and wingman, hourly rate is 25 000. Don't expect however a taxi driver speaking English. A good idea is to send taxi license number to someone through whatsapp The white taxis waiting in front of hotels or airport are a bit more expensive but also safer and a more comfortable. Hourly rate would be 30 000. If you ask to the hotel lobby of the better hotels, they might find one who speaks English. Expect of course to pay the gringo price for that special request.

If you start to get around, you can try the Transmilenio a bus system with stations as a metro system. A ticket is 2 200 and will bring you anywhere in the city.

I will not recommend to rent a car, it's expensive and traffic is too difficult even with a GPS. In addition you need to find every time a parking which will cost same as a taxi.

Directions are easy as streets and avenues have numbers. The mountain chain will indicate the east direction. From there, parallel to the mountain chain start the Carrera, 0 being the mountain chain, numbers increasing westward. The Calles start in the historic center, increasing going north. They increase also going south, with an additional S to indicate it's in the southern area of the city. A Diagonal is a Calle just that it's not exactly parallel to the others, and a Transversal is a Carrera that is not exactly parallel. Carrera 24 # 40-20 means that the direction is on Carrera 24 at 20 meters from intersection with Calle 40. Pair numbers are on the north or east side of the street, impair on the south or west side.

AMATEURS AND SEMI-PROS

A common mistake for gringos who meet only prostitutes in Colombia is to believe that all Colombianas are prostitutes. If Bogota has 14 000 prostitutes, it means that 3 986 000 of Bogotanas (99.65%) are NOT prostitute. Next day, you slowly start to get around the hotel. There are several day options in Zona Norte, all massage parlors. They are all in safe and discrete locations without sign, 3-4 girls in a line up, prices between 40 000 and 150 000 for a massage, 80 000 up to 300 000 for a poor massage with fair sex including BJ, often on an uncomfortable massage table sometimes a bed. If you don't want to lose your time in visiting, just try my best recommendation: Av. Carrera 15 #104-03. It's a building with some stores at first level and a mezzanine above these stores. As some girls use it also as a living, the new owner decided to open it also as a brothel. Nice rooms, pricing is 170 000/60 min. However line-up is irregular, only 2 girls during my visit. I guess that early in the morning girls are still sleeping and late in the evening girls are in the night club. Night time, time for some more serious action! As you made a long trip to get here, you just are looking for the best that Bogota has to offer. Good news, the best clubs are in the Northern Area close to your hotel and each club is at walking distance of the next, although walking from the first south to the last north would be too far. They are the typical nightclubs with rooms for sex. Although most have podiums with pole dance, there are seldom strip shows. Except Porky, the clubs have no signs, but obvious bouncers at the door indicate that there is a club. Here is where you will find the hottest girls in Bogota and of course also the most expensive. Average age between 20 and 30, very good looking and nicely dressed. There is usually a 150 000 fee for the club to go to the room or to leave the club with the girl, the rest is to negotiate directly with the girl, around 200 000 to 400 000 for a shorty and 300 to 600 000 for all night. For local standards, these prices are way over rated, but then again compared to what you would pay in USA or Europe for an escort, it's still a good deal as girls are very hot and service is excellent. Trouble is that price has no fixed scheme and needs to be negotiated, which is more difficult if you don't speak Spanish and are an obvious tourist. As a gringo, expect to pay the double of regular prices.

Even if prices are way higher as in Zona de Tolerencia, girls do not necessarily earn more. When in zona de Tolerencia, they will earn roughly a 100 000/ hour during peak time with quickies, drink tips and stage dances. In a high end Club, she is not allowed to leave the club before closing time, might end the night without any client and at best end the night with a customer and earn 400 000 ending her night shift at 7 am. Only the most beautiful girls might earn better in this environment that is why you will find here the most beautiful girls of Bogota.

If you are just for a short trip to Colombia, an all nighter is definitely my recommendation as once back in Europe or USA it's virtually impossible to pay for making love all night with a young top model looking girl. What makes the service so good with all night? Well, first, the girl is not in her brothel territory but in your territory, she doesn't want to take the risk to deal with an unsatisfied customer while more vulnerable. Second, being out of the brothel environment, it helps both to forget that the relation is within a business agreement as Colombianas have a natural trend to be tender and sweet. Third, that night you will be her only client and sex partner, some nights she even has any client, she therefore will give the best of her. And last, payment is not upfront but when she leaves. That night she will be your girlfriend and risk is high to forget she is just a pro.

Only problem of these clubs apart from the high prices is the harassment of the crew to make you drink, you and the girl. Once you have ordered a bottle, pressure drops, but please check pricing before ordering. All these clubs have clear prices advertised (although some price lists mention at the bottom of the list that 19% VAT has to be added to all listed prices). But prices are overrated at least for local standards. A beer or a Coke will cost at least 30 000. May be throwing big money in expensive clubs surrounded by beautiful girls is your idea of fun. I would rather recommend to just take a glass, chose quickly a girl and get out of the club in order to keep the money for the sex.

There are no cover fees to get in these clubs; they are all in a walking distance from one another and in a safe area even at night. Most probably you will be spotted by some local dude that get a small commission to bring a customer to a club and that will bring you from one club to another. They will not really harass you, are not dangerous and at least will show you around all the existing clubs. These clubs start to open at 7 pm and close at 3 am every day.

How does a girl evaluate the acceptable price for an all nighter? The typical mistake a mongerer makes when negotiating an all nighter is to believe that the girl takes in consideration physical aspect, personal sex appeal, exclusivity of your hotel room, or any other comfort consideration. Actually the girl doesn't care; she will only look what she will not earn that night being not in the club. Roughly if she is a club in Zona de Tolerencia, she earns 100 000 an hour during peak time, 50 000 an hour during the week or after 2 am, do the math. I therefore would definitively advice to keep your all nighter plan for week days. Keep in mind that if you take a girl out early in the evening, she will try to leave after a couple of hours spent in order to go back to a club and earn more money. Best is to leave with a girl at closing time, as after a couple of hours even the early morning clubs are closing and she will have no reason to leave anymore. Just before closing time, she is very vulnerable as risk is high for her to end the night without customer. Keep in mind that all nighter is a very relative meaning, so best is to close the deal with the girl agreeing on exact end time.

Most girls in high end clubs have no problem giving their personal phone number for another meeting without the club's exit fee. If there was chemistry during the first night with a girl, it's an excellent idea to meet her again outside the club. Treat her as a date, and you will get genuine GFE.

Lalo International Club (ex Porkys) Calle 83 #14 A-28. Tel 314 371 8000 https://www.facebook.com/Porkys-Club...8361188396084/. Open from Monday till Saturday from 7 pm till 3 am. They changed the name for Lalo's, which is confusing as the real Lalo's is on Carrera 15#88-30. Both are from the same owner. 40 very hot girls, no cover, exit fee 185 000, the girl will ask 200 000- 300 000 for a short time and 3000 000- 600 000 for all night. There are no rooms in the club, but the club has a hotel nearby at additional price.

Lewinski Carrera 14 # 85-17. Open from Monday till Saturday from 7 pm till 3 am. This a smaller bar compared to the others. There are just half a dozen girls, but why not throw a look as entrance is free. There are no rooms inside and exit fee is 150 000, the girl will ask 150 000- 300 000 for a short time and 250 000- 500 000 for all night.

La Piscina del Norte Calle 86 A # 14-45, a black house easily to spot. Open daily from 7 pm till 3 am. Don't expect a swimming pool as you might find it in a FKK, it's just a decor pool. 30 girls, strip tease, rooms on site. No cover, exit fee or room fee of 150 000, the girl will ask 150 000- 300 000 for a short time and 250 000- 500 000 for all night.

VIP Calle 86 a # 14-57 next door of la Piscina del Norte, smaller and cheaper facilities. The name keeps changing, even the bouncers don't know anymore what is the name. 15 girls, strip tease, rooms on site. Open from Monday till Saturday from 7 pm till 3 am. It's just lower class bar compared to the others, but it's just in front of the 2 former clubs, so why not have a look. There are just half a dozen girls way less beautiful than in the other clubs in the area. No cover, exit fee or room fee of 150 000, the girl will ask 150 000- 300 000 for a short time and 200 000- 400 000 for all night. Very few customers here, you can easily negotiate down the prices.

Lalos: Cr 15 # 88-33. This is the most popular club, here you will find the best choice in term of looks and quantity. Impressive line-up, some 40 very sexy girls. It's also the most expensive one. Open daily from 6 pm till 3 am. Pricing is 165 000 for the room or for exit fee. Girls ask 200 000- 400 000 for a short time and 400 000- 800 000 for all night, as they have to pay daily 100 000 to the club.

Juan Pablo Zhivago Carrera18 and. 93 46. Open daily except Sunday from 7 pm till 3 am. Tel, 616 47 74. Open daily from 6 pm till 3 am. https://www.facebook.com/JuanPablosZhivago/. This used to be my favorite club, as it's the only one that understands that clients don't want to be harassed by a crew of waiters in smoking. Therefore it's a popular club for Asian expats ready to spend money as long as it's in a safe and quiet environment. As it caters to Asians, they have even Karaoke rooms, but no rooms for sex. No cover, no strip-tease shows, no one to harass you to sit on a table, to drink or to be with a girl. There are only 10 girls, so some people might feel bored. But it's the closest you can find in Bogota that gives you the illusion of a regular lounge bar where you meet your girlfriend for the night. And it's also the only place in Bogota where I could find the truly occasional student just trying to pay her college. Pricing is 150 000 for take-out, the girls will ask 300 000 to 600 000 for the night.

Lido Carrera 14 # 95-33. Open daily from 9 pm till 6 am. This club disappeared from the radar when they built a building on the former location. The new location is just a block away from the historic one. Open daily from 6 pm till 6 am. High end and large facilities, 30 hot girls. Pricing is 150 000 for take-out or room, the girls will ask 300 000 to 600 000 for the night.

Punto G Carrera 15 #95-80. Open daily from 9 pm till 6 am. It's a new club, a block away from Lido. Just 10 girls, probably because they just start in the business, but the club has potential. Pricing is 150 000 for take-out or room, the girls will ask 250 000 to 500 000 for the night.

Lancaster Carrera 15 #106-58. Tel 520 68 19 https://www.facebook.com/people/Lanc...0008354311188. This club also disappeared from the radar when they closed their location in Calle 90, but they opened again much Northern. Open from Monday till Saturday from 8 pm till 3 am. Pricing is 160 000 for take out or for the room, the girls will ask 250 000 to 500 000 for the night. There are only 10 girls, not really worth the visit as it's also further away from the rest of the clubs.

Flirt hotel Carrera 45 A #123-30 http://www.flirtbogota.co/. Open daily except Sunday. Call or text before to 311 25 25 422. No cover, credit cards accepted. A big house with upscale lounge to drink. 10 sophisticated girls line up to choose from. Pricing is 200 000 for the room or 400 000 to take out before midnight, 200 000 after midnight, plus 400 000/30 min 600 000/60 min for the girl. It's by far the most expensive club of Bogota. I was not impressed by the line-up, girls have just great dresses, hair and make-up but are not more beautiful than in any other place. Higher price is also not guarantee for better sex, some girls seem to have an attitude.

OZ Club Calle 74#20-39 www.ozclub.com.co Open from Monday till Saturday from 7 pm till 3 am. This one is not in the Northern Area anymore, but it's a high end club, at least regarding the pricing. At first I believed it was just a "barra why tanga" and that no sex was offered, but yes they do. 20 000 cover and for this you get a private strip show, although there are also public strip shows. The facilities are nice, but there are only 10 girls. Pricing for sex is to be negotiated with the girl, but expect 200 000 including the room. There is also take out, bar fine is 140 000 and the girl will probably ask 200 000 till 400 000 for all night.

Just for the record, as I don't recommend this scene, there is some street action in the vicinity of these clubs, mainly on Carrera 15 with Calle 86 and on Carrera 15 with Calle 103.

DAY BROTHELS IN CHAPINERO

After a night full of action, you start to get used to the city and are looking for a more local exotic scene than the high scale clubs catering for tourists and wealthier locals. You don't need to wait till the evening; there is a great day scene of small brothels in Chapinero at very low cost price. This scene is basically on Avenida Caracas between Calle 72 north and calle 53 south. On this 2 km long axis, there is a convenient Transmilenio. Chapinero is a popular neighbor with a lot of students and small businesses, quiet and safe during day time.

My good friend Zing23 did a great investigation job in this scene when he stayed a couple of months in Bogota and World Travel 69 did a great job as usual for updating his map.

All these brothels open daily between 9 am and 9 pm, a lot are closed on Sunday. Pricing? Hard to believe, but between 20 000 and 30 000, which means between 7 and 10 $! Ugly girls? Not at all! Most are young girl next door (well next door if you live in Colombia of course!) between 20 and 30 years old, working on daytime as working at night is always more difficult to explain to family. What is the counterpart of all that good news? There is no! A great scene for the mongerer looking for unlimited sex as cost is not an issue anymore.

I have listed the brothels from north to south as you can easily and safely walk from one brothel to another, visiting the neighborhood, hop from one pussy to another. The brothels have all the same type of facilities: a bar with cheap drinks, a line-up of half a dozen girls, no cover, no pressure to enter or to leave, rooms in the venue and fixed price scheme to be paid upfront. Facilities are cheap but clean. There are usually no showers available however for the customer.

Hard to recommend specific place, as it all depends of the girl of course not of the brothel. If you take your time to visit the different places, you can find some real gems. The basic service includes total nude, BJ, multiple position sex. If you chose the option of additional time (30 min or 60 min instead of 20 min), you might expect more than just a quickie: BBBJ, DFK and GFE if there is some chemistry with the girl or if you pay for the requested option. Take out is usually not offered and most girls will decline meetings in the evening as they have chosen this scene way less lucrative as the night scene because they can't work during night time for family or other personal reasons.

If I have to recommend one, it would be Chicas Milenio Calle 71 #14 A-24. It's also the only one that is open daily day and night, from 9 am till 3 am. It's also the one with most girls, between 10 and 15 on a shift. It is also one of the most expensive whatever it means: 30 000 pour 20 min, 40 000 pour 30 min. If you want to visit only one, it should be that one. Only problem, as it's the most popular brothel, it's also the only one that does not always respect a fixed price scheme, especially of course with gringos.

When walking from one brothel to another, you will start to recognize the houses that are brothels: no signs, no rooms, but an open door with a guard at the entrance. There are also a couple of dudes in the street that will spot you and hand you over ID cards with address of a brothel.

In addition to the discrete brothels scene, Chapinero has also it's own small RDL. I don't recommend it, but it is just for the record as it has never been reported before on ISG. It's at the intersection of Calle 67 and Carrera 21, a couple of motels with street action in front, even during daytime. The pricing is the typical 20 000 and 7 000 for the motel room. Girls are overaged and overweighed. Just not worth it, keep it to the discrete brothel scene.

You are looking for a night brothel, don't want any more the high end clubs from the Northern Area with overrated prices, but don't want also to take risks in the infamous Zona de Tolerencia, here a great advice, there are 2 great night clubs in the Chapinero area: Pussy House and La 49. Fixed price scheme to be paid upfront at the desk. I always had very good experiences here, expect good service.

Pussy House Calle 61 #13-64. Open from 5 pm till 2 am from Monday till Saturday. No cover. The neighborhood looks unsafe, no sign, but everything looks better once inside. The first floor is a stripclub with pole dance, bar, you shaped sofas. The second floor is a nightclub where couple dance on salsa music. Rooms are in the third and fourth floor. There are 30 to 50 girls between 20 and 30 years old. No cover, cheap drinks, 120 000 for an exit fee but most go to the room, pricing is 70 000/30 min. A private strip dance is 40 000. As drinks are cheap, you can stay here, drink and have fun all night, no need to worry for the final bill. It's a popular club and there are a lot of clients on Friday and Saturday.

There are a few low level night clubs in the area taking advantage of the popularity of Pussy House.

Night club with pole dance and strip shows in the main floor, restaurant and rooms in the basement, mezzanine with a great view on the entire club and more rooms on the second floor. No cover. There are 30 girls between 20 and 30 years old. As prices are higher than Pussy House, there are less customers: 150 000/30 min or 300 000/60 min in the room plus 60 000 for the room. It's still a great option compared to the more expensive northern clubs or the less safer clubs in Zona de Tolerencia.

Again here there are a couple of clubs in the neighborhood taking advantage of the notoriety of la 49. The most obvious is the next door club Carrera 13 #49-67, as you might easily enter the wrong door. But once inside, it's obvious that it's not the notorious 49: poor facilities and just a couple of average girls. Other low level night bars:

ZONA DE TOLERENCIA SANTA FE

OK, you start to feel more comfortable with the Bogota scene, you are now ready for the infamous Zona de Tolerencia of Santa Fe. It's not my favorite scene, but then again, it's not to be missed for a punter visiting Bogota as nowhere else in Colombia you will find so many sex workers per square meter and this 24 hours a day 365 days a year.

Main problem of the zona de Tolerencia is that everything is tolerated, not only prostitution. There are some real creepy dudes here. It's always busy, there is always police in the area, it's not that you risk your live. But pickpockets, drunk dudes, a trans that start a scandal, claiming money for a blowjob he never gave. Enough negative experiences that might ruin your stay.

My advice would be to visit the area first during daytime and get used to the area. By night, don't walk outside the main block where there is police presence and bouncers. If you are drunk, you should definitely not walk outside, do everything with a taxi. Best would be anyway not to drink and have a wingman by night.

On daytime, you can easily take the Transmilenio and get out at station Calle 22. You will notice the building of La Piscina, Zona de Tolerencia is behind that building: Carrera 15,16 why 16 A between Calle 23 and 24.

Street action starts at 9 am and ends at 3 am. At peek time, there are probably 200 girls waiting in front of the numerous motels. Typical motels are Doll House, Las Vegas, El Encanto, Pasada Nare, Manizales. There are also numerous smaller bars where girls hang out for a short time in the nearby motel.

Pricing is 40 000 000 for 15 min in one of the motel rooms. As the girls are waiting in front of motels or inside bars, you might easily mistake it for a brothel or a club. There is a huge difference however, the girls are not working for the motels or the bars, don't decline ID to them unlike what is happening in brothels and clubs. Therefore, robbing, rip off or simply bad service is much more likely with street action. The girls are between 20 and 30 years old, some are very good looking. Service is basic, don't expect BBBJ or DFK. You can however pick a girl up for and all nighter at 250 000. Service should be much better of course, but a good tip is to check her first out with a short term before confirming long term.

There is also street action in the peripheral area of Zona de Tolerencia. Needless to say, don't walk in this area by night. South of the Zona de Tolerencia, which means between calle 23 and calle 19 is the TV and other monsters area. Be very careful here!

On the other side of Caracas, there is another street action area, on Carrera 13 why Carrera 13 A between Calle 24 and Calle 18. This is the area of the ugly old women. They usually wait in front of a house or a building's door. If this is your way of having fun, pricing are as low as 20 000. I can't and don't want to report about quality of service.

Apart from street action, the Zona de Tolerencia has the highest density of brothels and clubs of Bogota, therefore it is very popular. Girls who work inside the Clubs are not very different from the street workers. It's not exactly the place where you might find your shy innocent student working occasionally here to pay her bills. But then again, it's maybe not what you are looking for. If you are looking for your hot and nasty "bomba Latina" with fake boobs giving great PSE, here is the place to be. Average age between 20 and 30 years old.

The clubs inside are safe, so it's perfectly safe to come and go with taxi and enter directly in any of the clubs. Girls have no contract with the club, they can come and go during the night, hop from one club to another. They only have to decline ID to check if they are not minor. Average price is 60 000/15 min, service is fair but BBBJ and DFK are not included in the basic offer. Payment is upfront with the Club. Expect the unfriendly knocking at the door to notify that time of session is running up.

All clubs have rooms but there is also the option to go out for all night for 200 000 up to 400 000. There is no bar fee, therefore you will notice that girls switch from one club to another during the night. I would however not suggest to come and look for your princess of the night in la Zona de Tolerencia. By by the time you try to take her out for an allnighter, she has already fucked some ten other guys before, so hard to expect GFE from her after.

There are day clubs, nightclubs and even clubs that start after midnight when most clubs close till next morning when the first clubs open again. While there is no bar fee in any of these clubs, as soon as you enter there will be an employee following you until you decide to order a drink. If you don't want to drink, just ignore them, don't talk to them, don't watch them until they lose all hope with you.

As it is on Caracas, you can actually access the club without even entering the Zona de Tolerencia. They have a private and safe parking lot. This is the most famous brothel of Colombia, several movies have been shot here. The swimming pool is a nice deco, but is not for using as. Nice and calm place with strip shows around the swimming pool and rooms upstairs. Nice girls also but usually the quantity is a bit disappointing, usually a dozen. Pricing is more than the other clubs, 120 000/30 min. You can actually exit on both side of the club, which is to say Caracas and Carrera 15, which is directly in the Zona de Tolerencia.

As Atunes did a great job on the deco, there is even a huge aquarium, it looks like this temporary location might be for long term. Open daily between 10 a m and 8 pm. CLUBS IN PRIMER DE MAYO

Although it's the second most important prostitution area of Bogota after the Zona de Tolerencia, no one had ever reported this scene on ISG until why accidentally discovered it when visiting a swinger club in the area. As usual, World Travel 69 did a great investigation job to update his map will all the brothels of this area.

Truth is that Primer de Mayo is far south of the city, but it's also the most important rumba area of Bogota after Zona T. The area however is way not as safe as Zona T as we are in the south of the city. Watch your back here, even if the area is busy on night time due to the numerous regular night clubs, casinos and bars.

All these brothels are strip clubs with obvious signs. However, the scene is confusing as it's not easy to make the difference between a brothel, a strip club without sex (called "barra why tanga' such as Midas, barra la you, Barra la Tanga, Tantalos, Tanga why Aroma, Faraonas). A regular disco and a gay club. If you have a doubt, just ask to the bouncer if it is a "barra why tanga" (strip club without sex) or a whiskeria (brothel).

The scene is along Avenida Prime de Mayo between Carrera 68 and Avenida de Cali. A Milestone is the Mac Donald. Stay on the side of the Mac Donald, as on the other side of the boulevard is the gay and trans sector and some can be aggressive.

Would I recommend it? Well, it's not my favorite scene, but if you like Zona de Tolerencia, you will like Primer de Mayo. The atmosphere in this neighborhood is different, there is no street action and day action but once in the clubs, facilities, girls and service are similar to Zona de Tolerencia. The girls are between 20 and 30 years old, from average to nice. Service is mechanical, BBBJ and DFK are not included. After 15 min, they start to knock on the door to indicate that time is running up.

Payment to go the room is upfront at the bar. Taking the girl out of the club costs 80 000 for the club and the girl will ask 200 000-400 000 for the "night" whatever it means.

I lost interest in the mongering scene as paying for sex seems ridiculous when living in Colombia. I however missed the thrill of the underworld scene, and discovered the swinger scene of Bogota. - Fun for Colombians means not just sex, it means socializing together, making jokes, dancing and drinking. Atmosphere is therefore way better than in European swing clubs where people just fuck silently and I would say sadly.

- There are no condom dispensers in clubs, you can only buy them at the bar. Condoms are sometimes forgotten in the heat of the action even with complete strangers.

- Colombians hate to go out alone. When the clubs are open to men also, there are lot less single men than you might experience in Europe, which gives it of course a much better women / man ratio.

- Swing is not natural for the Colombian macho, the vast majority of couples simply love to have sex in the middle of other couples, flirting a bit with the couples around but no real interchange of couples. There are swingers of course, but you have to find them in the crowd.

- Those who are real swingers are in fact mostly not real couples, except elder couples. Most prefer to swing with a friend than with the real partner.

- It is common to socialize and interchange phone numbers with other couples, mainly to be part of the swing network that organize private events in Fincas outside Bogota, but also to find a swinger buddy.

Upscale with a huge nightclub on the first floor and the wet area with Jacuzzi and action area on the second floor. Similar atmosphere, a normal nightclub till midnight, the striptease show and then everybody moving to the action room. Also similar public, not real swingers.

Although it has been renewed recently, the place is way less upscale than the 2.

First. There is a ventilation problem with the smell of humidity from the wet area. But what is great here is the atmosphere. Everybody first has to go to the locker area, leave the clothes and go for the typical towel / sandals. On the first floor there is a night club with an action room in a mezzanine and in the basement the wet area and an other action room. The sauna and hammam are great, the Jacuzzi is not always clean.

But it's simply the best swing atmosphere in town, here are the real swingers. People just don't wait the typical strip-tease show to go crazy, its genuine fun here. The night club has a great atmosphere, everybody dancing salsa or cumbia half naked, couples switching while dancing. When the strippers come, it's hard for them, the public is hotter than they are, and women try to fuck the male stripper. I've seen here a wet tshirt contest, men with water guns shooting the contestant girls and the rest of the public. In the jacuzzy, you will experience half a dozen of hands gripping your dick while you are masturbating two pussies on the same time.
