Anyone know where in El Poblado I can get this and what the current costs are? Yes I know I don't need it for Medellin, I will be living in Ecuador and its expensive and hard to get where I live in USA.

Great and thanks for the info and figured it was OK to come in there. I am on Clic from BOG after I stay in BOG for a few days. Prices for my travel were 89 MCO to BOG or 250 MCO to MDE. Cheaper to return from MDE then BOG so I needed to get to MDE at some point.

Good luck with that. If you're coming in from another city in Colombia, then you might be in luck, unless that city is Cartagena. EOH is only for domestic flights.

Why good luck? I am coming domestic and I know it only does. Same price to fly to either EOH or MDE so why not skip the big airport and the extended taxi ride.

Anyone used EOH airport in Medellin? I picked that for arrival over MDE since its closer to the city. I have never flown in or out of EOH, but banking on smaller airport means getting out quick and a shorter right to my Abnb.

Yes I have used that airport a few times. I like the fact that I can get there on the metro just hop off at the Poblado station and it's about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the airport.

I used it when I went to Armenia and also when I went to Cali.

They only have smaller turbo prop airplanes there. The small ones that only seat about 20 people. The airline I always used going thru there was called EasyFly (it's called Clic now).

The terminal is very small but there is a Juan Valdez coffee inside there and when you board the flights you actually have to go outside. I always thought of it as an adventure.

They have flights to different regional airports in smaller towns that MDE doesn't offer so that's a plus if you want to fly into some small pueblo to explore the real side of Colombia.

Nah you can't deny that quality has taken quite a hit over the last few years. I don't believe that it's because of rich oil sheiks buying up all girls LOL, although there's some truth there of course, mobility has gone up so girls can easily travel to Dubai and make 10 x more than what they make in Medellin.

But the MAIN reason is much simpler: Onlyfans. This platform is at least partly the problem. Normally one of the biggest factors determining your salary is the country you're in. A top doctor in Medellin doesn't even come close to what a top doctor in Dubai makes, just because they're working in different countries. However Onlyfans totally changed this, all of a sudden it doesn't matter anymore if you're from Dubai or Medellin, the hotter you are the more you make. So this makes it extremely interesting for hot girls from poorer countries. A hot girl can't make 100 k usd / month working at Parque Lleras. But they can with Onlyfans. Not saying this explains all of it, there are of course tons of girls not willing to make internet porn for obvious reasons. But it surely is a very important factor for the quality decrease over the last few years. Girls don't even need to have sex with total strangers anymore, they can make much more putting some rubber dildo in their asses in front of a webcam. Of course this is very tempting to quite a few and hence the increased popularity of this platform correlates with the decrease on the streets in Medellin, of that I'm sure.

The average quality that I've experienced over the past few years has increased. However, that's because I've been doing things differently over the past few years. If I still did things the same way, went to the same spots and didn't try to improve things, the outcome may have been different.

Around 10 years ago the webcam explosion hit Colombia. 3-4 years ago the livestream and TikTok craze hit. OnlyFans is more recent, but before that Pornhub and others were providing the same options. All those things have a relatively small impact on the prostitution options. First some background, then I'll explain.

I spent a year working with webcam studios and models in Medellin. For most of the year my roommate was a successful webcam model (and she still is a successful model). For the record, there are probably less than 500 women in the world making $100 k per month on webcam, Onlyfans or any other adult online service and none of them went from street hooker to porn royalty.

The reason why webcam, TikTok and Onlyfans all have only a small impact is simple. They all require a work ethic.

Providing online content, adult or not, requires a lot of work. It's not something you can just do whenever you need money. With webcam, it takes a minimum of 6 weeks, 4-8 hours per day, 6 days a week, to start making any money. Usually it takes another 2 months to earn enough to start making a decent income.

Very few prostitutes have the drive to devote 3-4 months to the job. I know. I tried to explain it to them. They want to get paid, cash, after each show. That's the hooker mindset.

However, with cheap phones, the hookers have other options. Why hangout on the street when you can find better paying customers online?

Nope not me. Regards my PM, I have been a regular poster on these boards for over a decade but have given up trying to reinstate my paid sub, so PM does not work.
