I just came back from Dubai and after a few drinks and too much shisha with old friends felt the late night urge so decided to message Lucy as I found out she was staying near me in downtown. Sorry to hear your bad experience. One of my friend had encountered a similar incident which I had shared in the forum few years back. His encounter was in a known hotel in Bank Street. Luckily for him he carried only agreed cash and emirates ID and had removed all his credit card before he left his car, otherwise he would have ended up in the same way. So visiting unknown girls in known hotel rooms aren't save either. It is always better to do RTFF and visit only tested waters. Never carry more cash. I did not report it to the police because I am not single, and I know this country is very strict with extramarital affairs.

In fact, even if there was clear intent, there was not extramarital affair (yet) to be held against you. Even though the UAE seems at the opposite of countries such as Sweden and France for instance, whereby the blame is put on punters as the WG are poor little creatures who found themselves forced to provide their service due to market demand pressures. In the UAE we are at the opposite of the spectrum and most of the blame is put on the provider (like for drug trafficking). My impression is that these gangs operate mainly in Deira, so that could be an indicator as there are not that many Russian providers there. And where did you get the dets? Was it on MR?

The interesting thing is that is the first time that I see them using the profile of a Russian. Usually it was more exotic nationalities such as Bahamas or Sweden. So we may expect these gangs to perform their trick by advertising Asian or even maybe Arabic WG.

I thought more people would read it if I posted it here, and wanted my story to serve as a warning to as many people as possible. I don't want to scare anyone, but I do want all to be very aware of the risks, and act accordingly.

The African attackers were very aware of this, and repeated several times that I was going to lose my job and be deported should the cops found me in that apartment with them. They also told me they were illegally in the country, so they didn't mind at all if they were caught or deported. Also, they threatened me with the video they recorded of me naked to a chair. Who knows where that video is now. So, basically, once you get in that situation, you're fu.

Just to give you a bit of background, I am quite a paranoid guy, and try to check for all risks. I also thought this would never happen to me, as well as I used to think those stories of guys that meet a gorgeous chick, take her to their hotel and wake up next day with a scar on their tummy and with one less kidney were just urbal legends. Well, I guess I changed my mind.

Plush Tiger, to answer your questions, this happened to me in Business Bay. I'm trying to recall the exact building, but I can't remember exactly. Actually, it all started the day before. I called to the same number, and chatted a lot with "the girl" on WhatsApp, and went to see her in a nice residence building in Palm Jumeirah, right before getting to The Fairmont Hotel. It was late, after midnight, and the security guy did not let me in. I tried as hard as I could, but the guy did not let me in, so I arranged for another visit the next day, and that's when I was asked to go to the place in Business Bay. So this was really meant to happen.

In hindsight, the pictures probably look too good to be true. But I've been with a lot of "too good to be true" girls, that turned out to be too good! The chat with this one was normal, as usual, and nothing really raised a red flag. I guess after more than 10 years of good experiences I got relaxed.

In any case, I don't think this will happen to me again. I'll take tons of precautions. I don't think I'll ever go to an incall service again, and if I go, I'll be very prepared to defend myself properly and without hesitation. I've used some massage services with happy ending in high end hotels, with masseuses that are like top models, but they only provide happy ending with HJ, unfortunately. If I ever do get an outcall service in my hotel, I will make sure to be very prepared as well. As somebody said here before: take cash only, and only what you need for the service, no credit cards or any other documents, no main phone, and with some personal protection weapon. I won't discard I won't be attacked in my own hotel room, or anywhere.

I have been thinking lately about asking for a video or photo with my name, and the current date wither written on a piece of paper or orally spoken by the girl. So, still there is room to be scammed.

By the way, a few times before I had good experiences with legit girls, where they opened the door to an empty apartment. I got in, and the girl, exactly as in the pictures, was just hiding behind the door. Probably to avoid sight of neighbors, or whatever. Also in this case where I got scammed, the building was nice, with security downstairs (although they didn't even check on me) and when the door of the apartment opened it was not dark. It was well lit, and everything was clean and in order. What a mistake I made!

But I am happy I am alive, and that this served as a very expensive lesson. Next step it to source a small, but powerful weapon, for personal protection. I did some research after the fact, as I wanted revenge, but it is hard to find one in Dubai, unless you produce it at home.

One more note on this very sad event, I realize that if I did not fall prey to this kind of scams, it was maybe more by luck than design, even if I am quite suspicious, on the verge of paranoid at times (I love that whatsapp allows you to delete recent messages and I use it and abuse of this feature). Plus, for a first encounter, I always sign up for one shot and therefore I found myself with less cash. The only bad stories I had were bait and switch or woman that looked more stocky and better built than me (I am not an athlete but you got the point). I am not wiser but luckier.
