Yeah I got scammed as well.

Guys Its quite sad to see such kind of reports, the only bright side is you all are not harmed physically. Be careful.

I do see a number of Indian / Pak / African adverts popping up on MR, where the pics are not verified. As a thumb rule, stay away from un-verified advts.

Secondly, check for reviews and the person who has given the review. If the reviewer has just 1 review, then be cautious.

Thirdly, try and stick with Asians (PRC, Malaysian, Thai, Viets). The max scam you will get is photoshopped pics, or a completely different girl (in that case you can ask for a discount or get stellar service).

I have never heard any Asian joint trying to harm or force the guy to pay, and I have been here for many years.

So follow simple rules, and use MR wisely.

Or use the Agencies for Russian / Romanian girls, they are also fine. But anytime if you see a "Good Looking" girl like an 8 and above dropping her price to 500 or less then be careful.

Texted via whatsapp, got the confirmation, agreed on a price and time. About half an hour late door bell ringed, I opened up a door*mistake*, and this african chick stepped forward into my door, as she was clearly hiding her face behind her hair, just in case I'd peek into the hole to see her, looked kinda like a scene from a scary movie. As she was halfway inside my hallway, I stopped her and said, sorry but you're not the chick on the pictures, she responded that it might have been a mistake and I shouldn't worry about it, she will just take care of me anyway, I was like no f'and way you will, she said alright let me call my manager and you'll speak to him. Next was a whatsapp number with *probably fake*a picture of an emirati dude*read: intimidation* giving me a whole speech of how I'm messing with the wrong people and they are connected to the authorities and will get me in trouble and swear to make my life in Dubai a living hell. Now they were actually claiming I had sex with her and didn't pay the 'escort'. Again, blocked.

Third attempt was I'm guessing from her whatsapp as the whatsapp profile named 'Anne' texted me and again, threats and false accusations that I have to go downstairs and pay her full amount.

To be honest, all these years and places I've been to, this was probably the shameless scam that I've encountered. I guess I finally have to learn.

Yes. There are some nasty stories on here about scams with some of the African providers. I'the like to try them but shy away from it for that reason. I will wait for a reliable recommendation. I agree that in the last 6 months or so there has been a steady increase in African adverts. No idea whether they are trustworthy. Many of the Asians on there are managed but that does not preclude them from being decent. You can x check the mobile numbers a lot of the time to see who is affiliated with whom. The same applies for some of the CIS. Many listings are agency. I have still had some good experiences. It is trial and error. What really frustrates me is the 'What's new' section. The Indian / Pakistani dominated agencies post repeated fake questions from burner accounts so they appear active. They should clamp down on that practice. I have otherwise had good experiences with agencies such as uaemensclub.
