True story

I recommend it is a fun read and gives lots of insights about Thai girls.
So here's the (true) story: a guy spends a week in Thailand and meets a lovely non WG lady, he sleeps with her but she only gives him head, no FS. He falls in love and decides that when back he'll marry her. On a second thought when back home in UK he calls the detective to make a background check of the said lady. He gives him her name and the address of her parents so that the detective could check her family etc. The detective goes straight to the birth registrar and can't find trace of her. Puzzled he decides to get in touch with her parents and they tell him that they have a son and are happy for their son cause he is going to get operated soon to change gender and he had already found a husband.
So you you should feel lucky that it ended just in a COB compared to this guy who fell in love and was about to marry a post op after paying a huge dowry.
Regarding Sweden, they clamp down on punters and frown about P4 P so the women there are not raised in this culture so they would not think about it and since they have a very good social safety net and good economic opportunities, that would be very rare to find Swedish WG even in Sweden where I would suspect that most WG are foreigners. Best bet is to join some groups and try to socialize in bars where they would meet, but yet I'm not sure there are that many single Swedish expats.
