It is like she is in a real life Madd TV or Saturday Night Live skit. You are thinking this could not be serious. If you are going to BS your way to the top, at least seem like you know what you are doing once you get there. Don't be totally clueless without any sensible or well thought out answers.

Maybe they are te kinds of leaders wanted in the USA, Canada, France, Britain and elsewhere. Morons who will do what they are told. With no worthwhile CV, like an Eisenhower, to show. Boris Johnson is an obvious philanderer, clown, opportunist but the media, which is also controlled, love him.

    Hunter Biden, no exposure etc.

Good example. I don't like Condoleeza as IMO she's a complete war-monger, but when you listen to her talk, it's obvious she is very bright. When I listen to Kamala talk, all I can think of is ineptness and how the f did she make it to Vice President. Maybe it's persistence, maybe the right person helped her, maybe she just "fell upward" (whatever the expression is).

Though it's not the norm, there are people who make it very far in life who aren't that bright. From both sides of the aisle, I give you George W. Bush and Joe Biden (young Biden didn't come across as intelligent at all and he's obviously decayed with age). Two great examples of guys who fell upward all the way to possibly the most powerful person on the Planet.

We've all had our say. Since this is the Stupid Shit In Medellin thread, it's time to revert back to topics of warped interest to those of us that live or visit here. Agreed?

So why do I defend her? For some years I worked in the Securities Industry. (But not in California) One of the big problems was that many state and municipal investment managers started taking "incentives" to learn about the derivatives markets (options basically) and they started making outrageously risky moves which nearly bankrupted some municipalities and Harris as attorney general pushed for and got through legislation than prohibited or drastically curtailed the amount of risk that cities and counties could take on. When they started to lose revenue, they were forced to adhere to a budget and cut salaries or positions. This was critical in helping California from continuously having to bail out counties and cities that went bankrupt.
It's quite funny you would say that. I'm actually more aligned with the democrats than with the Republicans. I am by no means a Trump supporter or anything of the like with all their fake news QAnon conspiracy bullshit, etc. That being said, I think Kamala Harris is a Joke and Biden is old and senile. I actually liked Bernie Sanders and think he would have made a much better president than Biden, but that doesn't matter now. Oh and I'm glad Petro won the election too.

He argued that she is not African American. You are arguing that she is 1/2 Black (Although I think it was her father that was half Black, which would make her less than half Black?) These are 2 different arguments in which you are both correct. She is actually Jamaican Indian. She was raised by an Indian mother with Indian culture, not African American culture, despite where they lived. (I saw them on some cooking show making Indian food together, not African American food.).

Most of the reason that she was able to climb aboard the African American train is because she went to a Black school and pledged a historically Black sorority (and she is a dead ringer for my African American cousin). Most people figure Black school, Black people. But that is not true at all. Having attended a Black school myself, I know that not everyone there was Black or African American. We had some White people (can't get federal money by having race restrictions) and we had a shitload of people from the Caribbean Islands that were of Indian descent as is VP Harris.

It is a funny thing that out of the millions of Black Americans that are descendants of American slaves, America goes out of her way to install high ranking politicians such as Obama and Harris that are not and says here are some Black people to appease you. To me that should be a slap in the face to African Americans. But most are happy to accept and tout what they are given, nevermind it being a false narrative.

P.S. I never use the term African American. I prefer Black or Black American. But it was important to use it here in order to differentiate Blacks Americans of American slave descent and those that descended from other parts of the diaspora.

Now she's whining that other "fake ballers" are ruining the scene for her LOL.

Just as an aside, there aren't that many blacks in the US that don't have some amount of "plantation blood". Should they be called frauds also??

Maybe you don't remember the Democratic primaries. Harris was ousted because her record was too tough on crime. I know you don't believe it but I remember it, she was a star after the first debate because she stuck a knife in Biden. She became the instant super-star but after that Tulsi Gabbert gutted her on her record as a overly tough District Attorney and later Attorney General for California. She wasn't able to defend against those charges.

Not the greatest judgement dating a married man. But we all be fuckin' someone. As to Willie helping her? She won the election for District Attorney of SF and she won reelection unopposed. I think Senator Diane Feinstein's support had more to do with helping her than anything else.

If you say so. I think of her as the prototypical vice-president. Rarely seen and even more rarely heard.

Total BS. 7 years as District Attorney of SF, 6 years as Attorney General of California, 4 years as US Senator from California. All of those are elected positions. That would give her more experience in politics than many of our Presidents. And a hell of a lot more than the last clown.

Oddly enough you don't seem to understand that the VP doesn't "set policy" the president does.
Either way, she is incredibly ineffective and brings no talent to the table. Interviews are totally a joke. She will never get my vote.

Fair enough but she did have to win primaries and at least one run-off to get elected.

She started out as a star in the first debate when she humiliated Biden. But afterwards Tulsi Gabbert killed her by claiming she was a harsh District Attorney for SF and Attorney General for California and there was no good answer to those charges. After that everyone piled on and she plummeted in the polls and dropped out.

Oddly enough you don't seem to understand that the VP doesn't "set policy" the president does.

President Biden has directed Ambassador Susan Rice, Assistant to the President for Domestic Policy, to lead a Domestic Policy Council system that brings greater dignity, equity, opportunity, and prosperity to the everyday lives of Americans. Staffed by policy experts on a range of issues, the DPC will craft and implement policies on everything from education to health and immigration, along with cross-cutting issues that tackle the profound and multifaceted challenges and opportunities before us.

    https://www.whitehouse.gov/dpc/

She was asked to find a solution to the problems at the Southern border and hasn't had any success. I think it is absurd to say it is her fault that the 53 migrants died in the trailer. No one in 100 years has been able to fix the problem at the border. Trump's wall sure didn't seem to stop anything. What was that poem??

Your wall is pretty, Your wall is new.

    Over, under, around and through.

We like to call it Trump avenue.

Did the "stupid be*tch" vote to prevent drilling in San Francisco Bay and the OP is an oil guy and found that vote offensive? Or did she propose legislation while in the Senate to require sobriety monitoring devices in all new vehicles? Good goal but horrible invasive idea.

Given the "stupid be*itch" at issue is very well educated and has a very accomplished career, I think at least some explanation is warranted for the comment to be taken as more than "idiot speak."
A little bit of a low blow evoking tussi as part of my reasoning, but I can handle it. "Idiot speak" speaks for itself, without any additional explanation. You may have the last word if needed, on this thread.
