On the other, I have seen exactly one person declared dead with Covid, a 93 year old with leukemia, a dubious claim to be sure.

On top of that, you have to account for other decisions. Sweden's early high death rate was much like New York's in that the vulnerable elderly were not isolated from those contaminated with Covid. That decision about the elderly is not factored into with Sweden by the media. No, the death rate was higher because they did not lock down.
