I assumed he was talking about me. I do street girls and the ones I go after I do not consider "pro". I am from Canada, and fraudulent credit card charges are not the responsibility of the card holder. This is Colombia and this is not easy to make happen, but once the banks start being held liable for fraudulent charges and then naturally they will next come down on the merchants I believe things will change. How could the store clerk not check the ID with the name on the credit card? They are in pure cohoots. Once the merchant gets charged and loses their ability to process electronic payments, things will improve for the victims.

I use credit and debit cards all the time in the US, Canada and Colombia. I've never been asked for my ID that I can recall. Many places there's nobody to check your ID, with the self checkout lanes. And of course there are all the online merchants.

In most cases, if you're using a US or Canadian bank you're not liable for fraud. However, if you're using a card issued by a Colombian bank, those protections don't exist.

You might not suffer a financial loss, but it can be troublesome if your card gets canceled due to fraud.

Ella es (a conjugation of ser) enojada (she has a personality that is ill-tempered or grumpy). The literal translations of the Spanish verbs "estar" and "ser" are the exact same in English (to be), but they absolutely do not mean the identical same thing in Spanish. Keeping it really, really simple the former can be temporal while the latter is about the essence of something or someone that is more of a fixed or permanent characteristic. In English we don't have multiple verbs for "being". This makes it confusing and challenging, at least at first, to learn the differences between estar and ser and how to use those verbs in Spanish correctly. English also doesn't have "masculine" and "feminine" which I find to be (ser would be appropriate here haha) really fucking annoying! Why? Just to make it harder to learn Spanish? LOL!
