That's interesting, I thought maybe it was a hint to let others know she does play for pay. $1 is good luck huh, I've seen a couple with $5 and at least a few with $100 bill. Guess she doesn't care about the risks.
You can buy the cases for a few thousand pesos all over El Centro. Or maybe girls, who have almost all had at least one phone stolen, are willing to risk losing most of their monthly rent by putting it in the most likely thing to be stolen.
Because having a $1 bill in the phone case is supposed to be good luck. Several of my normal chicks have asked me for one when we have been together. And I tell them the same thing you should be telling those chicks I am in Colombia. Why would I have dollars? I have pesos and a credit card.

I have a question for you, since we have some experts here. I've come across a couple girls who have selfies with US currency inside their see thru phone covers. Can you tell me if there's any meaning behind that?

Why is your superior skills at working this magical chemistry of yours not working at all on this site?
You have not figured out yet that many of these guys started 10,20, 30 years ago when they were 40,30, and some 20 years old and thus know what it was like in Colombia during the drug years, then before the Venies came over the border, and now with Venies everywhere?
So they can't go to a currency exchange. Ok got it Smh.
BTW. There are some exceptions. These are girls who can use USD. For example, some Venezuelans will want or accept USD bcos that is now the most accepted stable currency in Venezuela. They prefer USD if they are going home bcos then they can buy the bus ticket at the border, they can use the money in the own country, knowing that it won't lose value within one week. But this is not the case for Colombians living in Colombia.

Sometimes a gringo toursit will give them a tip, but they don't have enough pesos, or for whatever reason they want to give them a souvenir of the US. The girl will save the USA bcos they generally have no use for them and they don't want to give their value away in exch centres. Thats my experience of the situation.
So they can't go to a currency exchange. Ok got it Smh.
Sure they can, but why would they want to give an exch office 5-10% of their earnings? Why not just bill in the local currency? Makes no sense whatsoever. Even a glue sniffing street urchin could figure that one out.

Can you tell me if there's any meaning behind that? Because according to you guys these girls are gold diggers if they are quoting dollars. Is there a connection there, are they trying to tell us that because I find it odd many do this, like if it's some kind of trend perhaps.
Bcos the currency in Colombia is pesos and you cannot use USD here. I know many USAns like to think that the American continent belongs to them, but really it doesn't. The only use for USD that a Colombian might have for USD is if they were some guy running a fake FB account using pictures of Colombian chicas in order to screw naive visitors out of their money.

Because she lives in Colombia where US Dollars are not legal tender, but Colombian Pesos are. So if a hooker in London is talking to a guy in Colombia, she should give him the price in Colombian Pesos?
See'Mon. Dude don't state the obvious. Some of these girls actually use their brain you know.
5. Don't for one second think you understand paisas. You don't. If you seriously think what works for you in the US will work here, well, I think you'll be surprised. Hopefully you read some of the posts on being careful,
Reminds me of that cat Dublin that was posting in the Cartagena thread maybe over 1 year ago. Could not tell that guy anything. Although he had never been to Colombia he swore he had it all figured out. Got there with his western logic and mindset and was run up out of Colombia sad and disappointed. A hard head makes a soft ass.
Like I said if I was a working girl in Colombia and talking to a guy on instagram that's from the usa and he tells me its his first time, why the fuck would I talking pesos instead of dollars?

Hmm I guess you know more about me than I do myself. I guess some of my friends I talk to (in "paisa" spanish) and (yes understand well to) on a daily basis are in fact not from Colombia? LOL smh.
Not sure if you knew but we have colombians here in the states too. At least in my city we do.
