Are you telling me, after all those women, over all those years, you can't, after the 4th date, figure out whether a woman wants to kill you or stay with you?

I know that you enjoy a good debate lol, however, I refrain from responding to clueless guys. This particular guy is on Kindergarten level, while though I'm a simple, normal guy, I have travelled the world, and have spent more than 20 years in S America, and speak fluent spanish and portuguese.
IMO, there is nothing wrong with helping out good people, deserving people, especially when you expect nothing in return.
Safe travels mi amigo. I'm in Santiago, Chile at the moment, having a cafe con leche, awaiting a nice Chilean muchacha who I met on my last visit here.
You know I feel the same way about helping good people out. It's funny that guy keeps complaining about people not helping people out, but thinks the most dangerous thing man can do is help out a woman.
Sounds like you're having fun, which I expected. My Medellin girlfriend is about 2 weeks into an extended visit at my place. She's learning to cook so she can take care of all the domestic chores: cooking, cleaning, laundry, blowjobs.

I guess I'll respond one last time. One of the girls that offered to take care of me and I meet with regularly is from seeking and money never changed hands. I speak no Spanish and have minimal forigen experience. Again. I am really only responding for benefit of other new people. My experience might not be yours. But treating human beings like. Human beings goes a long way. It costs me nothing and has brought much happyness and sometimes the depraved sex that I like.
You sound like a simp. Your negative experience with women sounds like a you problem.

But you can get a much better room in Laureles for the same money. Though you'd lose the advantage of location if you're spending most of your time in Centro. I personally would rather do the commute.

It's equally ludicrous when someone states that a mere increase in numbers (demand) will drive up prices. Someone who thinks that not only never took any economics classes, but has never been to Bara Ejectiva in Medellin. Demand there is glorious but prices remain constant as the Colombianos can't afford to pay more. You could stuff twice as many more in there and the price would still remain the same.
What's relevant is the "type" of consumers or volume of those willing and able to pay higher prices. Throw a bunch of suckers with $ in the mix and prices will rise. Service levels will also decline as the same will put up with it.

Lot to unpack here LOL.
I'm going to try, as others have done, to convey information in a way that you won't take offense to and offer up a snarky reply.
There are some genuinely good people all over the world. There are also terrible people who just take and take. Osteo was probably lucky that he met some good eggs, but he also set himself up for that outcome by being a good egg himself.
Also I'm not exactly sure where you picked up your communication skills, but they may need a little refresher.

The way the chicas lined up to care for me, feed me, bathe me, change my linens, bring me medicine, all without being asked or paid was one of the first times I knew I found a very special place. And they kept wanting to take me to the hospital, but I somehow managed to avoid it.

I don't even know why I am responding. I guess for other "noobs" as you say it though to maybe learn how to make the most of things.
I am new here but not new to using my words / writing to get what I want. If people can barely understand what you are writing it makes it difficult to communicate with you. As in. It becomes not worth the time. I hope you aren't trying to impress anyone. I sure am not. But consider putting in a minimal amount of effort into getting what you want. Which is free advice from strangers. So yeah, you do you and keep writing a wall of gibberish text riddled with errors. This isn't a fourm lesson. Just a life one.
Not for nothing, but I would guess the illiterate part would be your lack of reading comprehension.
And I am so confused about your fixation on race. And with the light skin girls at the strip club. Like sorta curious what that really meant.

As is often the case, the terminology needs to be defined

Define "buying behaviors" which is not exactly an economic term.
If you mean more sheer numbers of people showed up and supply could not keep up with demand, then yes, that will drive up prices every time in a free market.
If by "behaviors" you or someone is referring to the prices being paid by the consumers, that does not set price and has no effect independent of supply and demand on what other people pay.
Given the size of Costa Rica and it's remarkable economic expansion already mentioned by a third person on this string, sounds like it was the former. Also, given the differences in scale between Costa Rica and Colombia, I have seen it written here many times that there is very little to be gleaned from a direct comparisons between the two countries.

This is what I advocate for too. Treat people like human beings, like you would expect to be treated, and you can expect the same in return. This is why I get exasperated by some folks here that constantly go on about prostitution being an immoral thing, that these chicas are low life, by finding 'higher quality', all this priveleged and "superior' garbage, that does nothing but show their own prejudices. They are human beings trying to make their way thru life, often from a very disadvantaged starting point. They usually want a little respect, like most people do.

I have never been to Costa Rica so can't speak for or against prices getting bid up due to this. But I would imagine their economy going from 5 billion GDP to 64 billion over the last 30 years plays a role. All those Jurrasic Park tourists! Things get more expensive and prices go up.
