Argentina is poor as fuck bro. Pick a better example.

Switzerland controls the world's finances, that's their get out of jail free card. Don't expect other nations to get such treatment. Even Sweden, a historically neutral nation has just joined NATO and decided not to sit on the sidelines while true evil threatens innocent people. Sometimes a shepherd must fend off the wolves.

You seem like the type of guy to watch old ladies get mugged and look the other way. Not my type of guy.

Yeah let's go through history and judge people by their worst moments and do our best to destroy the legacies of the people who made the most contributions. That will certainly work out well for society LOL.

Dar Papaya- in English, it basically means if you act like an asshole and let people take advantage of you, they will. It's human nature.

Mexico and Latin America love to "Dar Papaya" for other countries. Let's pull our pants down, bend over, and lube our asses up. Then when America comes in and fucks us up our taco shitting asses, we'll cry rape and pull the victim card for the next 200 fucking years and this will be our excuse to never get our fucking shit together. In the 1800's, the quality of life sucked for even the richest countries. If you were not constantly working to secure and maintain your territory, train a functional and effective military, constantly seeking out diplomatic solutions and treaties to keep peace and commerce with other countries, work to exact and utilize your nation's natural resources as well as provide the infrastructure, education, and training for your workforce- then guess what- another country is going to come along and take your shit. All the countries of the world knew the rules of the game during this time period. The government of Mexico and Latin America were negligent and their people paid the price for it unfortunately. It's sad what happened and I would never condone the actions of the USA for their policies regarding the Mexican-American War, but I will also not vilify them and refuse to acknowledge the reality of the time period.

Is it fair for nations not to pull their weight and allow population booms in their countries when they don't have the infrastructure, education system, food, water, and economy to support their population which then places an unfair burden on the nations who are fulling its' obligations to society and the global population?

Where I come from, if you act like an asshole- expect to be treated like one. If you want respect- you must give it and earn it. If you come into another man's home- do not bite the hand that feeds you. I used to think those morals were universal, but sadly I am realizing they are not.

One of these days these dumb Dems will figure out how the media is manipulating them. We just saw the hysteria with Ukraine. We need to support our brothers fighting Democracy, and it is like $40 billion is passed onto the defense companies with very little oversight and shortly after that, the headlines are "Russia is winning the war."

With Covid, we had to spend billions on vaccines. The question everyone asked with Covid if someone was sick was, "Are you vaccinated?" and if the answer was no, it was like a green light to treat that person like shit as they were so irresponsible. Of course, this data shows the vaccine do jack shit with regards to getting Covid. In fact, the group least likely to get Covid is the unvaccinated group. If there were talk in the news of Covid every day, I am sure "scientists" would manipulate the data in such a way to say that the lower rates of the unvaccinated getting Covid were "not statistically significant", but because Covid is not in the news every day, no one cares.

And there were billions in wasted vaccine to boot, but no one cares about that either. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news...sted-rcna31399.

Like the defense industries got their money, Pfizer and Moderna got theirs. I am not sure these vaccines will even be offered / available after the moratorium on lawsuits is lifted. They are worthless now and are dangerous to boot.

You mention General Pershing, a real ****, even by American standards. On Armistice Day, 11-11-1918, he got his men to charge the German lines a few minutes early so they could have hot showers. The incredulous Germans waved them to wait but no. They needed their showers. German machine gunners showered them with lead. They were among the last fatalities of the Great War. Great General Pershing.
LOL, Nah, now WW1 I know a bit about and Pershing was a true hero. He will be remembered forever as such as well.

It's strange how today people are so proud that their countries or their ancestors got fucked up by the USA and then they pretend their people are so great because they didn't have the means, the balls, or the gumption to band together to even fight a war. And look at all the countries who sat on the side lines, now they are still living in poverty because they couldn't take a stand and fight for their people or they foolishly elected corrupt leaders who were bought by more powerful nations, or they just let dictators destroy their societies. LOL It's just weird how people love to make themselves victims today, all that matters is that someone comes from a country that was defeated and raped by another country and that makes them a good person. Personally, I am kinda sick of that hearing that pussy shit. Anybody who hates on a guy like Pershing is just a fucking sour grape crybaby-back *****! Hahaha. Take my post with a grain of salt and if I offended anyone, I am just being a dick and don't take it serious please.

The president before Huerta, Madero, promised land reform including expropriating idle land, much of which was foreign owned. This was a threat to US, UK, German, etc., economic interests. Huerta had Madero killed, which Wilson liked, but then Huerta turned out to be a crazy, unreliable drunk and Wilson felt he could not 'control the country,' which also threatened US economic interests. So the US engineered the victory for Carranza against Villa and Zapata, because Carranza was a wealthy owner who supported the existing constitution vs. The proposed and eventual 1917 constitution allowing expropriation.

In the case of Guatemala and Juan Jacobo Árbenz Guzmáand, Árbenz in 1952 expropriated idle land from United Fruit Company and redistributed it to peasants for housing. Then he supported a wage increase from about fifty cents a (10 hour) day to about seventy-five cents a day. This was at a time when the US minimum wage was about the same per hour. The former president of United Fruit, Thomas Dulles, was the brother of US Secretary of State John Foster Dulles. TD was still on the board of directors and JFD had previously been a board member. So they sent the CIA in, trained a force in Somoza's Nicaragua, and simply overthrew Árbenz. Somoza was another despot the Yew Ess supported, along with Noriega, José Efraíand Areíos Montt, etc.

Then the Yew Ess fucken exiled Árbenz, his wife, and his daughter to three different countries. Árbenz drank himself to death in México and his daughter committed suicide in Colombia. Not satisfied to have merely overthrown him, they persecuted him and his family for the rest of his life, running disinformation and smear campaigns.

And of course the CIA continued to overthrow freely elected presidents they deemed too progressive, such as Salvador Allende in Chile.

I will admit I haven't studied the Mexican American War or the Mexican Revolution extensively. I will say though that its' absolutely pathetic if Mexico allowed another country to engineer the "outcome" of their revolution. Common sense tells me a nation as large as Mexico wouldn't allow such a thing to happen. I can't believe Mexicans are that stupid, weak, and gullible to allow the USA to do such a thing. Then again, they did roll over quite easily in the Mexican American War and the mighty Aztecs were conquered by a few hundred conquistadors and a few thousand slaves, so perhaps you are right.

Humans have a long history of greed fueling warfare and of course Americans are no stranger to this.

It's called Neo-Colonialism and it's economic control minus outright invasion. There's some videos and a book called "Economic Assassin " or something close that tells the story for anyone who may want to learn more.
