Watch this, this is my summary of the arguments against the vaccine:

1. The vaccine is deadly! Look at all these YouTube videos that prove it! (he made up his mind and then looked for confirmation and of course, it is the internet. If his thesis had been that little green men from Mars brought CoVid over here, I have no doubt he would have found several YouTube clips supporting the idea).

2. The vaccine was deadly because I had a friend who died. Over 7 million people worldwide died from the CoVid virus.

3. The vaccine was not adequately tested. (It was adequately tested but not "completely" tested). The point is that the vaccine was tested very quickly, found effective and mass produced and sent around the world. I guess it would have been better to test and retest and tweak the vaccine until it was perfect and no one would have ever had a side effect. Of course, by then the population of the earth may have been considerably smaller. After-all the virus mutates and adapts. Testing for perfection would have been nuts.

4. The statistics don't mean anything because Big Pharma was dictating the results. Got to love that one. Oddly enough countries all over the world reported their results and somehow the results from country after country came in for the most part very close to those reported in the US. Once the vaccine was widely distributed in their countries the rate of deaths went down dramatically. I guess that means Big Pharma was dictating results from places like Cuba, Cambodia, Croatia, Chile and Chad. Just to name a few that start with the third letter of the alphabet.

5. And this one goes back a while. "We know the vaccine was deadly because Joe Rogan said so. " A line of reasoning only a drunk Elvis could have come up with. "But really, it is all the fault of the Democrat Douches. ".

What do we see? After an initial period of total devestation the fatality rate of CoVid settled in the 3% range for people who were unvaccinated. What about people who were vaccinated? Less than 1%. That turns out to be more than a million lives that were saved by the vaccines.

That math is simple. Worldometer kept pretty good records across all countries.

What do we see for the US? About 111 million CoVid cases reported and 1. 2 million deaths. That is just over 1%. A big drop off when the rate was near 3% through 2021. All of this shows that the vaccine resulted in a much lower fatality rate from CoVid.

So the statistics validate the utility of the vaccine even if it wasn't (and probably still isn't perfect). So how many people died as a result of the vaccine. No one knows for sure, but the estimates I have seen suggest a few thousand at most. Many of the "reported deaths" aren't verifiable. Afterall it is a truism that we are all going to die. It is only a question of when and how.

Even then the only double blinded study showed more deaths in the vaccinated group than the placebo group. While that slight elevation of deaths was blown off, it has held up over time. Yes, you were more likely to die getting vaccinated versus not.

As far as the side effects from the vaccine, I have seen it all: infertility, deafness from tinnitus, extreme muscle weakness ETC. Hell, there was even one study showing 20% of the children getting the vax had abnormal EKGs a week later. Despite all that, it seems that most people's symptoms though not all by any means are gone after a year.

From a political POV though, I will say that one silver lining is that what worked with Covid, this complete arrogance that government knows best, is not working with the economy. The doctor agreed to keep seeing his kids without their getting further vaccines.
