Vietnam and South Korea go into a countrywide panic when there's 1000 cases.

I don't believe China's numbers but very few countries handled it well.

South Korea has 55 million in a country smaller than the state of NY.

Colombia has 55 million in a country the size of Texas and California combined.

So they're are very few countries handling it well.

I don't bother to read anything by Elvirus anymore, unless someone else quotes it. Then I don't bother with it, unless he's making shit up about me again.

He claimed that the higher case load in Peru was due to a mutated strain. I called bullshit, because no mutated strain had been discovered in Peru. I never said there was no risk of mutation. I do believe that one of the arguments I made against just letting the virus run its course and rely on herd immunity was that such action increases the risk of a successful and worse mutation.

The rest, well anyone who has been to Colombia (and I suspect Peru as well) can attest to how "totally locked down" they were. My Facebook feed was every day full of videos of the girls partying in all the barrios. The guys who stayed in Medellin through the "totally locked down" period also reported no trouble getting girls, not only showing the girls were getting out easy enough, but the taxis were running as well.

It's like a stretch of road I drive down every week. Signs saying "Target Enforcement Area, Speeding and Distracted Driving. Zero Tolerance" but I've never gone down that road without seeing both. There's no way to enforce a total lockdown on a city of 4 million. The people of Colombia are about as law abiding as anywhere else, which means they ignore the laws that they can and obey the ones they must.

Of course I get credit for predicting the number of cases. But Elvirus constantly ridiculed every prediction and openly scoffed at the suggestion of 200 k US deaths.

His Fauci bullshit is my favorite part. I believe it was in March, 60 Minutes interviewed him and asked if everyone should be wearing masks. Keep in mind, at that time there was a shortage of PPE in the US. I'll paraphrase him. He said that people with symptoms, people who tested positive and people exposed should wear masks, but it wasn't necessary for everyone to mask up. At the time there were also only a few thousand known cases in the US. Once the mask shortage was overcome and the disease was known to be widespread, his recommendation was for everyone to mask up.

Unfortunately, some people must distort the truth to fit their agenda. So, Fauci's initial recommendation became "masks are completely useless" to a small group of morons I'll call the Elviri. I linked the entire 60 Minutes interview and wrote out Dr. Fauci's response, yet he still believes in his little fantasy.

I'm sure he'll keep rambling on and on without ever knowing what he's talking about. Perhaps that's his purpose in life.

They should do a study on Manila since it has the highest population density in the world at around 107,000 people per square mile. Average family is 7. They live on top of each other. I give JJBee credit on his predictions with regards to cases. I was skeptical at first how contagious the virus really was early on because I had not personally seen that many cases.

Myths are popular, always have been. But cheating women are also scorned like cheating men. There's plenty of women with money, especially in developed countries. When marrying water does tend to seek it's own level, but the primary motivations in these cases involve desires for companionship and child bearing. Even still plenty of these marry guys of lessor means, thus the old bum boyfriend phenomenon.

Bottom line is this, a lot of guys in P4P are self-conscious about what they are doing. Thus this whole notion of "all women are prostitutes and all guys pay anyway" is a soothing balm, to make themselves feel better about what they are doing.
