Think of it like this. Socialism would shift the ownership of property to the public, rather than private individuals. So a company would be owned by the workers, not by some rich priveleged AR $ehole that does nothing but suck and leech off its workers. So the benefits of the business would accrue to the workers, not to someone that just happened to be born w a silver spoon in their mouths.
